The Perfect time

Splinterlands is on a perfect path right now for newcomers and old veterans alike.
But first of all.
The last weeks were turbulent with positive and negative aspects.
The reward cards were almost 100% printed, which meant that our Lootchests did not contain any cards anymore, but only potions, which cannot be used at the moment, because all packs are sold out.
However, as compensation Splinterlands rained high amounts of DEC into our Lootchest. Thus, amounts of 2000DEC were not uncommon. There are even said to have been winnings of up to 75,000 DEC, which is equivalent to about $400.
In addition, to our delight, Splinterlands has been able to generate an extreme increase in new players in recent months.

These events caused some frustration among new players, as they could not participate in the marketplace without paying horrendous amounts of money. No cards could be generated in other places than the marketplace.

On the other hand, this is also great, as many long-term players who have been with the game since its inception have been able to make incredible profits. Even if some newcomers could not achieve personal progress, the current situation clearly shows what potential Splinterlands has to offer.

And now the new reward cards have been released for the end of the season.
The supply is 20x which should be a sign for all frustrated greenhorns to buy cheap meaningful cards.
What potential value these could have in the future has already been shown to us.

A Github user created this live graphic which shows the print numbers of the current rewards cards.

I am so far positively surprised by Splinterlands as a company, as it clearly not only works in its own sense profit-oriented, but also lets the playerbase continue to participate.
