Breaking News in Splinterlands
For any Splinterlands players out there, during the recent Town Hall @aggroed announced that they will be implementing "soul-bound" rewards cards in the near future. Probably after this season. At that point, ALL CURRENT REWARDS CARDS WILL GO OUT OF PRINT. No matter where they are in their cycle.
This has already caused a massive jump in the current rewards card prices with most at least doubling if not a few X more.
As with anything FOMO-related, there's a spike, then a dip, and then cooler heads start figuring out what things are worth. Buyer beware, but by the same token, out of print is out of print. Thus, scarcity.
These cards will all go out of print (some have already) once the soul-bound rewards cards come, again, probably end of January.

Just thought I'd put out the heads-up. I managed to snag a few of these over the last few weeks just bottom-fishing. Looks like it could pay off.

Ah, that explains! I picked up some Djinn Oshanni earlier today, and found they doubled in price all of a sudden! ;)

I've been buying up a bunch of these rewards cards over prior weeks. A few days ago I picked up a bunch of the newest legendary cards and unloaded about 50 of them today for a 4.5x gain. Prices have already dipped so I'll probably buy back in to some soon. Just glad to see the market spring to life again.

Yeah, my Chaos cards have dropped almost 20% in value over the last month but my rewards cards have now almost 3x'd. lol I'm a long-term HODLer so we'll see if they hold up. I would think they'll continue to drop for a bit and then start climbing to higher levels. We'll see.
