ONEUP Posting Rewards Have Arrived!!!
The moment has arrived. I received my first posting reward from #ONEUP and now can start curating for profit. If you check my blog, I don't make a lot of posts. But what I DO do is comment and curate. Again, if you check my comments, you'll see that a lot of my comments could probably be posts by themselves. I love to engage other people and try to add to the conversation, and I find it easier to just reply to topics already written than come up with my own.
This has worked very well for me over the last year as I have amassed some pretty good totals. What people need to remember is that YOU GET HALF OF YOUR VOTE TOTAL. So when I do a 100% LEO vote worth around 1.2 Leos, I get .6 LEO in my account 7 days later. If I do 10 of those every day, I'm getting 6 Leos EVERY DAY. Just from voting. When people return the favor and vote on my comments, I get half of that as well. So just by consistently voting and commenting, I'm earning over 10 LEO per day most days. That adds up fast.
I'm now looking to do the same thing here in #ONEUP. As I talked about in my first post here, I truly believe this is a right place/right time scenario for this community. Play2Earn is blowing up and #ONEUP has an opportunity to be a big part of it here on HIVE and hopefully the mainstream as well at some point. NOW is the time to get active and engaged. There's a great chance for all of us to build our bags here at the beginning.

Absolutely! No time like the present. With Play2Earn blowing up on HIVE and beyond, and #Spinterlands bringing more attention to this blockchain than every before, I really think #1UP has a chance to be a major player in this space. Get 'em while they're hot! :-)
Yeah I agree, With NFT gaming being huge and having a one stop for articles and game information 1up is perfect
How much is a 1 LEO costs? and if I stake 100 LEO, how many LEO would i get for a 100% upvote.?
LEO is around .27 swap.hive or roughly $0.22 US. Staking 100 wouldn't get you much for an upvote, maybe a penny, but you have to start somewhere. It's really a great time to be getting involved in many of these tribes, LEO being one of the most developed. They've got some more development coming down the pike over the next couple of months that could really put it on the map outside of HIVE so, like I said, it's a great time to be getting involved.
I am interested to see how the curation rewards of Oneup change over time. I know that right now, the staked amount is probably low but as people grab their rewards, it should even out a bit more.

It's going to be fun growing with this community from the ground up. As with everything, I'm sure there will be some watering down of the rewards pool, but by then I will hopefully have enough staked not to notice.

That's the plan. As I said in my post, I don't usually post very much but I DO try to do some curating daily and I very rarely just vote without leaving a comment. I also do my best to respond and upvote everyone who responds to my posts. So, here's another 1.7 ONEUP for you. You're on your way!!! lol
I'm also a pretty dedicated and active member of #LeoMarketTalk so I'm sure I'll be talking about this over there on a regular basis.
I just got my payout too. Although not much but I am planning to get into what you are doing too. I don't really have much time writing post but appreciating people writing good post, that I can get into.
In my opinion, that's the best way to do it. Posting is great and all, but curating is the best way to get your name out there and start getting recognized. Once you start adding value to other peoples' posts, you'll start getting value in return. Build your bags so your votes are worth something and then every time you vote you'll be getting half of those rewards back into your account, plus whatever votes your comments receive. I, for one, try to upvote and reply to every comment I get on my posts. It's a marathon; not a sprint. Consistent effort will be rewarded. Period. It's the best thing about HIVE and all its tribes in my opinion. You can't fail unless you quit.

You get out of it what you put into it. But it's not an overnight type thing. It simply requires consistent effort with a little thought behind what you're writing. As you read more and comment more, you just get better at recognizing what works and what doesn't. And people start to recognize you as well. A couple of what I thought were my best posts got about 3 HIVE. Then there are a couple other ones I threw together spur of the moment and got 50 HIVE. You just never know. Just keep at it and don't let yourself get frustrated and pretty soon you'll be looking back on where you started and marveling at how far you've come.

So, should I login into 1UP portal and vote from there?
That's the best way to get 1UP rewards. You DO actually get rewards 1Up rewards when you vote from other front-ends if those posts are either written from 1UP or tagged with it.
I usually try and vote from both the 1UP front-end and the LeoFinance front-end every day. That way both of my bases are covered. :-)
