Splinterlands - Grinding my way up in Silver League

In this video I did 2 quests in 1 sitting and showing how I grind in silver using Life deck(most of the time :D) and opening daily rewards.
After doing the quest I start my dec grind. I also rented some cards to pump my power to 70k so I can hit Silver I and get more DEC, my rentals become 400dec/day. I stopped when I hit around 70% ECR coz I'm sleepy, then grind again the nxt day until 60% ECR. My net dec income is 800, after deducting the 400dec from rental cost.
So what do you this guys? Is it worth it to rent in silvers?
