A Strategy to Protect the Backline in Splinterlands

In this post I will talk about the summoner Lily Shieldpaw, she has been the summoner I used most in my battles in Splinterlands.
Before I continue talking about Splinterlands, I'm going to talk a little about Arcade Colony.
Arcade Colony

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.
For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.
I'm playing 3 games in Arcade Colony and they are:
In StakeHouse Den I'm only accumulating Hot Sauce, so I actively play only Splinterlands and Moon Karts.
There's also another game in Arcade Colony called Genesis League Goals, but I haven't invested in that game yet.
You can also find information on the Arcade Colony Discord server.
Remember that this is not an investment tip, so do your research before investing in these games.
Let's continue talking about Splinterlands and the summoner Lily Shieldpaw.

Lily Shieldpaw is a legendary summoner from the Dragon deck, and that's one of her advantages because you can combine cards from the Dragon deck with another deck.
Most summoners in Splinterlands grant benefits to monsters, and Lily Shieldpaw grants 3 benefits:
Increase the life of allied monsters by +1.
Grant the Camouflage ability to allied monsters.
Possess the Triage ability.
Let's take a look at how these abilities work in Splinterlands.
Camouflage

Cannot be directly targeted unless in the first position. Does not affect indirect attacks (e.g., Scattershot, Blast Splash damage, or Trample) or Wingbreak.
Triage

Each round, restores 1/3 of maximum health (rounded down) to the allied backline unit that has taken the most damage.
Healing abilities like Triage are very useful in battle, but in my opinion, the main one is the Camouflage ability because it will keep the backline protected.
In my posts, I like to show the cards in action, so come see the summoner Lily Shieldpaw on the battlefield in Splinterlands.

BATTLE
This battle is a great example of how the summoner Lily Shieldpaw is useful in battles. I say this because my opponent used several monsters with the Sneak ability, so the focus of these monsters is my monster positioned in the last position. But with the Camouflage ability, their focus will be my monster positioned in the first position.
My strategy is quite simple. I had little mana available, so I used Chaos Agent as my main defense. It only costs 1 mana and is very useful when it comes to dodging attacks, and in this battle, it showed that I didn't make the wrong decision. To help the Chaos Agent survive longer, I used monsters with attack speed buffs, giving the Chaos Agent a better chance of dodging attacks. I also used life buffs to increase the life of the Chaos Agent and my other monsters.
Finally, the Triage ability was also useful because my Serpentine Spy took damage but quickly recovered thanks to the ability's healing.
Having a secure backline is a great strategy, and for that, the summoner Lily Shieldpaw is the right summoner for battles.
