Card Analysis #1: Noa the Just [EN - ESP]
This week we start a new series in the @splinterlands universe. There are still some chapters of the Discovering Abilities series that I will be completing in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, the Card Analysis series begins, in which, as you can imagine, I will be analysing and detailing the strengths of the main cards in Splinterlands. For this first episode, I'll be looking at one of the cards that has just arrived with Soulbound Edition, so will you join me on this journey that starts today called Card Analysis? Let's get started.
Comenzamos esta semana una nueva serie dentro del universo @splinterlands. Aún queda pendiente algún capítulo de la serie Discovering Abilities que iré completando en próximas semanas, mientras tanto, da comienzo la serie Card Analysis en la que, como podrás imaginar, iré analizando y detallando los puntos fuertes de las principales cartas en Splinterlands. Para este primer capítulo la protagonista será una de las cartas recién llegadas con la edición Soulbound. ¿Me acompañas en este viaje que comienza hoy llamado Card Analysis? Comenzamos.
The first card analysed will be an epic rarity card from the water deck. Noa the Just will be the first card tested A card that has no attack but brutal stats with six speed, four shield and five vitality. Its strong point is the Rust ability it has at its first level, which reduces the shield of all opposing cards. Considering the amount and power of some of the melee cards in this deck, it's an ability that exponentially improves our performance on the battlefield.
La primera cartas analizada será una carta de rareza épica del mazo de agua. Noa the Just será la primera carta analizada. Una carta que no tiene ataque pero si unas estadísticas brutales con seis puntos de velocidad, cuatro de escudo y cinco de vitalidad. Su punto fuerte es la habilidad Rust con la que cuenta ya en su primer nivel y que reduce el escudo de todas las cartas rivales. Teniendo en cuenta la cantidad y poder que tienen algunas de las cartas con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo de este mazo es una habilidad que mejora exponencialmente nuestro rendimiento en el campo de batalla.
Noa the Just has a very low and interesting summoning cost for all it has to offer, just five points. However, its weakness may be that it doesn't deal damage and we lose a potential offensive card. However, as I have already explained, her special ability means that, in battle conditions with a medium-high mana level available, it is a handicap that doesn't affect us when deciding whether or not to include Noa in our possibilities.
Noa the Just tiene un coste de invocación muy ajustado e interesante para todo lo que ofrece, apenas cinco puntos. Sin embargo, su punto débil puede ser que no causa daño y perdemos una carta potencial en el aspecto ofensivo. Sin embargo, como ya he explicado, su habilidad especial hace que, en condiciones de batalla con nivel de maná disponible medio-alto, sea un hándicap que no nos afecte a la hora de decidir incluir o no a Noa en nuestras posibilidades.
Noa's evolution is really interesting. She is not going to gain attack points and she is not going to improve her six speed points. However, in terms of shield and vitality, she will gain two points over the total of her six evolution levels. But the highlight, without a doubt, is the special abilities she'll be gaining Dodge, Backfire and Martyr will be added to Rust and will make Noa Tthe Just a vital card as we move up the league system in Splinterlands.
La evolución de Noa es realmente interesante. No va a ganar puntos de ataque ni tampoco va a mejorar sus seis puntos de velocidad. Sin embargo, en cuanto a escudo y vitalidad va a ganar dos puntos en el total de sus seis niveles de evolución. Aunque lo más destacado, sin duda, son las habilidades especiales que va a ir obteniendo. Dodge, Backfire y Martyr se irán sumando a Rust y van a convertir a Noa Tthe Just en una carta vital a medida que ascendemos en el sistema de ligas en Splinterlands.
Noa is a Soulbound edition card so, as of today, cannot be sold or transferred so it is very risky, with the volatility of the market, to guess what price it may have in the future once Soulbound edition cards are allowed to be released.

My opponent in the battle of example is a friend from the Hispanic community. He's going to put together a good team to take on my water deck. My strategy will consist of boosting the melee attack with Kelya Frendul as a summoner and taking advantage of the fact that Noa the Just is going to reduce the shield of the cards that my opponent will include in his line-up. Let's see what the results of both strategies will be.
Mi rival en la batalla de ejemplo es un amigo de la comunidad hispana. @pirulito.zoado va a montar un buen equipo para medirse a mi mazo de agua. Mi estrategia consistirá en potenciar el ataque cuerpo a cuerpo con Kelya Frendul como invocadora y aprovechar que Noa the Just va a reducir el escudo de las cartas que va incluya mi rival en su alineación. Vamos a ver qué resultado da la estrategia de ambos.

Scavo Hireling and Merdaali Guardian's combo on Djinn Oshannus' health and shield will be decisive for Kulu Mastermind and Deeplurker to destroy the opponent's second line that has been left without a shield thanks to the ability provided by Noa the Just, the star of this week's analysis.
El combo que realizan Scavo Hireling y Merdaali Guardian sobre la salud y escudo de Djinn Oshannus será determinante para que Kulu Mastermind y Deeplurker destrocen la segunda línea rival que se ha quedado sin escudo gracias a la habilidad que aporta Noa the Just, la estrella del análisis de esta semana.

En mi caso tengo tres copias y estoy a solo una de poder ascender a Noa a su segundo nivel de evolución. Desde su llegada a mi roster se ha convertido en una de las cartas más utilizadas en batallas con elevado maná de invocación potenciando especialmente el rendimiento de cartas como Diemonshark, Deeplurker o Kulu Mastermind. Una carta a tener en cuenta y con una jugabilidad muy alta. Recibe una nota de 8 sobre 10 en este primer análisis de la nueva serie que hoy comienza.
