Card Analysis #12: Pyrewatch Devil [EN - ESP]
Welcome, friends of @splinterlands, to a new analysis. Last week we looked at the epic Gladius Marisol Contuma edition and explored its power and how to get the most out of its potential. This week we're going with a rare card from the fire deck: Pyrewatch Devil, a deck that, as I guess you know if you're a loyal follower of my articles, isn't one of my two favourites. However, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to analyse an opponent and the use of this deck. As you well know, the fire deck stands out for its interesting power in the melee attack. However, this deck also has interesting cards with magic attack or, as in the case of the card analyzed this week, ranged attack. I am also lucky that I have been able to improve it to level 3 evolution Thanks to the daily and seasonal rewards, it is even more dangerous than at its initial level.

Sin embargo, este mazo también cuenta con interesantes cartas con ataque mágico o, como el caso de la carta analizada esta semana, ataque a distancia. Además tengo la suerte de que he podido mejorarla a nivel 3 de evolución gracias a las recompensas diarias y de temporada por lo que es aún más peligrosa que en su nivel inicial.
Pyrewatch Devil is one of those cards that goes from being a common card at low levels to being an important card as its level increases. ideal card for low-mana battles due to its low summoning cost, although with the handicap of having a ranged attack. However, the fact that it already has Life Leech at level 1 makes it a card to take into account when organizing our strategies with this deck.

The initial level of Pyrewatch Devil is marked by a ranged attack point, two speed and three vitality in addition to the Life Leech ability in exchange for three points of summoning mana. At level 5 he gains Dispel and at level 7 Oppress. These abilities are somewhat secondary, little known and have a very situational use and that, to be effective, the opponent has to have cards with certain conditions. Either one that brings positive effects to the rest of the lineup or have cards without attack points. The most interesting thing, in this case, is his improvement in ranged attack and speed rather than the secondary skills he is getting.
El nivel inicial de Pyrewatch Devil lo marcan un punto de ataque a distancia, dos de velocidad y tres de vitalidad además de la habilidad Life Leech a cambio de tres puntos de maná de invocación. A nivel 5 gana Dispel y a nivel 7 Oppress. Habilidades estas algo secundarias, poco conocidas y que tienen un uso muy situacional y que, para ser efectivas, el rival tiene que tener cartas con ciertas condiciones. Bien alguna que aporte efectos positivos al resto de la alineación o contar con cartas sin puntos de ataque. Lo más interesante, en este caso, es su mejora en ataque a distancia y velocidad más que las habilidades secundarias que va obteniendo.

My opponent in this battle is going to be using a fire deck with a level 4 summoner and some legendary cards that are scary to see on the battlefield. I'm including some legendary ones as well, although the two cards that will play the main role will be Pyrewatch Devil and, especially, Chimney Wallstop at level 4. Let's see how the battle unfolds.
Mi rival en esta batalla va a utilizar un mazo de fuego con invocador a nivel 4 y algunas cartas legendarias que dan miedo verlas en el campo de batalla. Yo incluyo también alguna legendaria aunque las dos cartas que tendrán un protagonismo principal serán Pyrewatch Devil y, especialmente, Chimney Wallstop a nivel 4. Pyrewatch Devil is not that defining card like some of the ones we have analyzed. However, in a favorable context and with good support on your side, it is a unit to take into account when using the fire deck. Also, since it has a very low summoning cost, we can use it almost in any context available mana. He receives a grade of 6 out of 10 since, although his special abilities are useful, they contribute little and only in very specific situations. This point means that he receives a lower grade than he could have with other types of secondary abilities . Despite this, it is a card that I usually use on the few occasions in which I decide on the fire deck.
Pyrewatch Devil no es esa carta determinante como alguna de las que hemos analizado. Sin embargo, en un contexto favorable y con un buen apoyo al lado es una unidad a tener en cuenta cuando utilicemos el mazo de fuego. Además, al tener un coste de invocación ínfimo podemos utilizar casi en cualquier contexto de maná disponible. Recibe una nota de 6 sobre 10 ya que aunque tiene su utilidad sus habilidades especiales aportan poco y solo en situaciones muy concretas. Este punto hace que reciba menos nota de la que podría tener con otro tipo de habilidades secundarias. A pesar de ello, es una carta que suelo utilizar en las contadas ocasiones en las que me decido por la mazo de fuego.
