Seventh chapter of the Discovering Abilities series. This week we talk about an ability that, until a few weeks ago, was exclusive to the Gladius edition and could only be seen in clan battles. As of today, there are only two cards that have this ability outside of Gladius Edition. One is a legendary card from the Fire Deck and the other is a newly released Legendary Summoner from the Life Deck. To analyse this powerful ability, we will showcase the abilities of a Gladius card from the Water Deck: Alva the Crusher.

Séptimo capítulo de la serie Discovering Abilities. Esta semana hablamos de una habilidad que, hasta hace unas semanas, era exclusiva de la edición Gladius y que solo se podía ver en batallas de clan. A día de hoy solo hay dos cartas que tengan esta habilidad fuera de dicha edición. Una es una carta legendaria del mazo de fuego y otra es un invocador legendario recién estrenado y que forma parte del mazo de vida. Para analizar esta poderosa habilidad mostraremos las habilidades de una carta Gladius del mazo de agua: Alva the Crusher.

Grum Flameblade, legendary from the Fire Deck, and Jared Scar, legendary summoner from the Life Deck are the only two cards with the Bloodlust ability outside of the Gladius Edition. This ability is the common feature of this special edition that can only be used in clan battles. Alva the Crusher, a common card from the Water Deck is one of these cards and one with significant power to be used as a tank in our line-up.

Esta habilidad es la característica común de esta edición especial que solo se puede utilizar en las batallas de clan. Alva the Crusher, carta común del mazo de agua es una de estas cartas y una con un poder importante para ser usada como tanque en nuestra alineación.

The functioning of this ability is somewhat special. It is a very powerful and differential ability, but with a very specific condition for its activation. Bloodlust has the characteristic of increasing by 1 point all the abilities of the card that activates it. That is to say, attack, speed, shield and life. To be activated the condition is that the card that has this ability kills an opponent's card when performing an attack. If it only does damage it does not activate. If it kills the opposing card it activates and the card gains one point in all its abilities.

El funcionamiento de esta habilidad es algo especial. Es una habilidad poderosísima y diferencial, pero con una condición muy concreta para su activación. Bloodlust tiene la característica de aumentar en 1 punto todas las habilidades de la carta que la activa. Es decir, ataque. velocidad, escudo y vida. Para activarse la condición es que la carta que tiene esta habilidad mate una carta rival al realizar un ataque. Si solo hace daño no se activa. Si mata a la carta rival se activa y la carta gana un punto en todas sus habilidades.

The Bloodlust ability is so powerful that, unlike other abilities that work better or worse depending on certain characteristics, it is useful in all scenarios and battle conditions. Can anyone consider an ability that increases all the abilities on the card by one point as a negative? Just remember that you have to kill the opponent's card to activate this very powerful ability.

La habilidad Bloodlust es tan poderosa que, a diferencia de otras habilidades que funcionan mejor o peor en función de algunas características, es útil en todos los escenarios y condiciones de batalla. ¿Alguien puede considerar como negativa una habilidad que aumenta en un punto todas las habilidades de la carta? Eso si, recordad que hay que matar la carta rival para que se active esta poderosísima habilidad.

I must say that I am not good at clan battles at all. My collection has limited power and that makes me suffer in this kind of battles where we usually find the best of the best in the game. Beyond the water deck and despite the fact that I rent to improve my collection and benefit my clan as much as possible, my results are not worthy of note. In this battle against @tzoky we both have Alva the Crusher but my lineup is slightly superior and it shows on the battlefield.

Debo decir que no soy nada bueno en las batallas de clan. Mi colección tiene un poder limitado y eso me hace sufrir en este tipo de batallas dónde solemos encontrar a lo mejor de lo mejor del juego. Más allá del mazo de agua y a pesar de que alquilo para mejorar mi colección y beneficiar todo lo posible a mi clan, mis resultados no son dignos de destacar. En esta batalla contra @tzoky ambos contamos con Alva the Crusher aunque mi alineación es ligeramente superior y lo demuestra en el campo de batalla.

Alva the Crusher was able to activate his ability on one occasion and, in the battle, you can see the effect it has on the card and the development of the card from that point onwards. The ability boost is vital, and that's why all of us who participate in this kind of battle use a Gladius card in our line-up.

El aumento de habilidades es vital y, por ello, todos los que participamos en este tipo de batallas utilizamos una carta Gladius en nuestra alineación.

Bloodlust is arguably the best skill in the entire Splinterlands universe. That's why Jared, the new life deck summoner, can be a devastating element as his use becomes more widespread. If Bloodlust is already a powerful ability on a single card, imagine what it could be like to have that ability on all the cards in our lineups. Demolishing. It is almost mandatory to include a Gladius card, you can only field one, in each and every one of these battles.

Posiblemente Bloodlust sea la mejor habilidad de todo el universo Splinterlands. Es por ello que Jared, el nuevo invocador del mazo de vida, puede ser un elemento demoledor a medida que se vaya extendiendo su uso. Si ya es poderosa la habilidad Bloodlust en una sola carta imaginad lo que puede ser tener esa habilidad en todas las cartas de nuestras alineaciones.
