GRUND
THE CARD
This week we move from the water deck to the earth deck and we do it with a card that comes in and out of my roster. Grund is not a card that is a permanent fixture in my lineups It's a card that I rent from time to time because my Obsidian deck is magic-centric and Grund's summoning cost is something we can't ignore. His 10 summoning points mean that Grund can only appear in battles with high mana available.
Esta semana pasamos del mazo de agua al de tierra y lo hacemos con una carta que va entrando y saliendo de mi roster. Grund no es una carta que esté de forma permanente en mis alineaciones. Es una carta que voy alquilando de vez en cuando ya que mi mazo con Obsidian lo tengo centrado en la magia y el coste de invocación de Grund es algo que no podemos obviar. Sus 10 puntos de invocación hacen que Grund no pueda aparecer más que en batallas con alto maná disponible.
As you know, Grund is a card with epic rarity and ten summon mana points. It has e melee attack points, 3 melee speed and 11 vitality points for level 2 evolution, which is the card I'm going to analyse. As a special ability he already brings, at his initial level, Double Strike which makes Grund even more dangerous than we might think at first glance.
Como ya sabes, Grund es una carta de rareza épica y diez puntos de maná de invocación. Cuenta con e puntos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, 3 de velocidad y 11 de vitalidad hablando del nivel 2 de evolución que es la carta que voy a analizar. Como habilidad especial ya aporta, en su nivel inicial, Double Strike lo que hacen que Grund sea aún más peligroso de lo que en un primer vistazo podamos presumir.
GRUND'S STATS
Unlike last week where we had Nerissa Tridawn, a card that had no special abilities, this week we have a Grund that will have no less than three abilities throughout its evolution. As you have already read in the previous paragraph, at the initial level he has Double Strike. In addition, he will add Trample at level 4 and eventually Cripple at the maximum level of development of him. Three abilities that, as you well know, are analyzed in my Discovering Abilities series.
A diferencia de la semana pasada en la que teníamos a Nerissa Tridawn, una carta que no tenía habilidades especiales, esta semana tenemos a un Grund que va a tener nada menos que tres habilidades a lo largo de su evolución. Now it's time to talk business. We currently have around 30,500 Grunds in circulation. This, coupled with the fact that it is a powerful epic card with an eminently strong offensive accent, leads to its current price of $1.48 at level 1. As for the rent, it has a cost of 0.18 dec/day. They are not exorbitant prices considering the current state of the market in Splinterlands.
Ahora llega el momento de hablar de negocios. Actualmente tenemos en circulación alrededor de 30.500 Grunds en circulación. Eso unido al hecho de ser una poderosa carta épica de eminente marcado acento ofensivo la lleva a tener un precio actual de 1,48 dólares en su nivel 1. En cuanto al alquiler tiene un coste de 0,18 dec/día. No son unos precios nada desorbitados teniendo en cuenta el estado actual del mercado en Splinterlands.

THE BATTLE
An old man known as @longbien348 is going to be my opponent in the example battle. I seem to remember that I've faced an account of this player several times and, this time, it's my turn to win thanks, especially thanks to Grund's presence in my lineup. My opponent forms a water deck with Kelya Frendul at level 2 as the summoner and will field Diemonshark, Deeplurger, Venari Wavesmith, Kulu Swimhunter, and Chaos Agent as the last card on the battlefield.
Un viejo conocido como @longbien348 va a ser mi rival en la batalla de ejemplo. Creo recordar que me he enfrentado varias veces a alguna cuenta de este jugador y, esta vez, me toca ganar a mi gracias, especialmente gracias, a la presencia de Grund en mi alineación. Mi rival forma con un mazo de agua con Kelya Frendul a nivel 2 como invocador y alineará a Diemonshark, Deeplurger, Venari Wavesmith, Kulu Swimhunter y Chaos Agent como última carta en el campo de batalla.

Very close battle. Wood Nymph went down at the first opportunity and was unable to activate his healing even once. Grund did a lot of damage while staying alive and supported, with his defence, the damage done by Spirit Shaman and Regal Peryton to give me the win in this Silver II league battle.
Batalla muy igualada. Wood Nymph cayó a las primera de cambio y no pudo activar su curación ni una sola vez. Grund causó mucho daño mientras se mantuvo con vida y apoyó, con su defensa, el daño que hicieron Spirit Shaman y Regal Peryton para darme la victoria en esta batalla de la liga Plata II.
CONCLUSIONS
Grund is a card with undeniable offensive power thanks to his Double Strike ability. His problem lies in his massive ten summon points. This fact greatly limits the possibility of using it on a regular basis because in limited mana conditions it is not productive to sacrifice so many points on a single card no matter how powerful it is. Still, in high mana conditions and with a good chance of accompanying Grund with a good line-up, he is a really powerful and fearsome tank. It receives, in this review, a score of 6 out of 10.
Grund es una carta con un indudable poder ofensivo gracias a su habilidad Double Strike. Su problema radica en sus enormes diez puntos de invocación. Este hecho limita enormemente la posibilidad de usarlo de manera habitual ya que en condiciones de maná limitado no es productivo sacrificar tantos puntos en una sola carta por muy poderosa que esta sea. Aún así, en condiciones de alto maná y con muchas posibilidades de acompañar a Grund de una buena alineación, es un tanque realmente poderoso y temible. Recibe, en este análisis, una nota de 6 sobre 10.
