Share your Battle: Life Sapper edition [EN - ES]
If last week we talked about the ranged attack power of the life deck, this week it's time to talk about the antithesis of that deck: the death deck. And we do so by looking at a rare card in that deck that has magic attack: Life Sapper. It also has a really useful ability if, like everything in Splinterlands and in life in general, you know how and when to use it. Start this week's Share Your Battle challenge by taking a look at Life Sapper. Let's get started.

LIFE SAPPER
THE CARD
Life Sapper, this week's card, is a rare card from the Death Deck and is part of the Chaos Legion edition. It has a magic attack and a summoning cost of just three points. His stats are rounded out by two points of both speed and health. It also has the Life Leech ability at level 1, an ability that, in long-lasting games, becomes a real headache for the opponent as it increases Life Sapper's life each time he makes an attack and causes damage to the attacked card.
Life Sapper, la carta de esta semana, es una carta rara del mazo de muerte y encuadrada dentro de la edición Chaos Legion. Cuenta con ataque mágico y un coste de invocación de, tan solo, tres puntos. Completan sus estadísticas dos puntos tanto de velocidad como de vida. Además, cuenta ya a nivel 1 con la habilidad Life Leech. Una habilidad que, en partidas de larga duración, se convierte en un auténtico dolor de cabeza para el rival ya qua aumentando la vida de Life Sapper cada vez que éste realiza un ataque y causa daño a la carta atacada.
Despite having only three points of mana cost it is a card that, due to its special ability, can perform really well in battles with a lot of summoning mana available. It's one of those cards that if you can hide it well in your line-up so that it gets few attacks, it can be a real joy as the rounds go on. It's true that it has very little offensive power, even at higher levels, but it's a card to keep in mind in your strategies thanks to its ability.

THE LIFE SAPPER'S STATS
It's not a card that stands out for its clear improvement in stats. In fact, its magic attack will only go from one point of damage to two. His speed goes from two to four and his life from two to four as well. As for his special abilities, he will only add one more and he will do so at his last level. Bringing Life Sapper to its last level will grant this card the ability Redemption. An ability that deals one point of damage to all opposing cards when Life Sapper dies. Very nice end to a card indeed.
Carta rara por lo que su evolución llega hasta el nivel 8. No es una carta que destaque por la mejora clara de sus estadísticas. De hecho su ataque mágico solo pasará de un punto de daño a dos. This is also a starter card so the price is very low. Just 0.17 dollars at level 1 and the minimum of 0.10 dec/day in the case of rental. A very accessible card that can give us a good handful of alternatives to our death deck even at level 1.

THE BATTLE
Difficult decision every time I face a challenge in decks I don't work with regularly. Beyond the earth and water decks, my collection is very limited. Although in the case of the death deck I always keep a pleasant surprise for my opponents in the second line of my line-up. MY opponent in this battle was @reneiapbyrne who also faced the battle with the same deck. An opponent who presented a deck with a summoner at level two and several golden cards at the same level. However, he was defeated by my deck without evolving and with starter cards and all of them at level 1.
Dificil decisión cada vez que me enfrento a un reto en los mazos que no trabajo habitualmente. Más allá del mazo de tierra y el de agua mi colección es muy limitada. Aunque en el caso del mazo de muerte siempre guardo una agradable sorpresa para mis rivales en la segunda línea de mi alineación. MI rival en esta batalla ha sido @reneiapbyrne que también ha afrontado la batalla con el mismo mazo. Un rival que ha presentado un mazo con invocador a nivel dos y varias cartas doradas a este mismo nivel. Sin embargo ha caído derrotado ante mi mazo sin evolucionar y con cartas starter y a nivel 1 todas ellas.

I have gone 23 rounds to achieve victory in this evenly matched battle. The opponent's mistake by placing Dhampir Stalker too far ahead in his line-up was key in a battle in which we both had Life Sapper and both were protagonists until the last moment. MY better placement of my cards in the line-up has been decisive to win a battle in which I was clearly inferior to my opponent.
Hasta 23 rondas me ha llegado lograr la victoria en esta igualada batalla. El error del rival colocando a Dhampir Stalker demasiado delante en su alineación ha sido clave en una batalla en la que ambos contábamos con Life Sapper y ambos fueron protagonistas hasta el último momento. MI mejor colocación de mis cartas en la alineación ha sido determinante para llevarme una batalla en la que era claramente inferior a mi rival.
CONCLUSIONS
Interesting letter this Life Sapper. As was the case in the example battle, it is a card that performs especially well in long duration battles thanks to its Life Leech ability. It is also playable in battles with more limited mana where it could extend its life by a round or two thanks to this underrated ability. Costing only three mana points and for a very low price on the market, it is a card that should not be missing in our death deck. Highly recommended.
Carta interesante este Life Sapper. Como ha sido el caso en la batalla de ejemplo, es una carta que rinde especialmente bien en batallas de larga duración gracias a su habilidad Life Leech. También es jugable en batallas con maná más limitado donde podría alargar su vida una o dos rondas gracias a esa infravalorada habilidad. Costando solo tres puntos de maná y por precio muy bajo en el mercado es una carta que no debe faltar en nuestro mazo de muerte. Muy recomendable.
