This week we smile. The water mallet returns to the challenge of sharing one of our battles. And, although it is with a card that I don't use too much, it is a member of my roster and I will be able to analyse this card a little more and see, who knows, if it starts to participate more in my battles in the short term. This week's challenge features River Nymph. Let's get to this week's analysis with this Nymph form the river.

RIVER NYMPH

THE CARD

River Nymph is a rare card in the water deck. It is from the Chaos Legion edition and has a magic attack For four mana points, it is a card with low stats that can be useful in battles with little mana available or where legendary cards or cards with four or less mana can't be used. One point of magic attack, two points of speed and three points of life are his starting stats.

In terms of special abilities River Nymph is quite an interesting card. At her initial level she already gives us Cleanse, which removes all possible negative effects of our first card, and at level 4 she gets Amplify to increase the damage caused by Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns, and finally at level 8 she will add Swiftness to add speed to all all allies.

THE BATTLE

To see River Nymph in action I've chosen a battle against @coryswwglenn in Silver II. My opponent will be running a land deck led by Obsidian with two tanks to protect his three magic attack cards and one ranged card like Goblin Tower, an interesting card but one that won't perform as well as its owner expects in this battle.
Para ver en acción a River Nymph he elegido una batalla contra @coryswwglenn en liga Plata II. Mi rival formará con un mazo de tierra liderado por Obsidian dos tanques para proteger a sus tres cartas con ataque mágico y una con ataque a distancia como Goblin Tower, una carta interesante pero que no rendirá como espera su propietario en esta batalla.

My best deck has won another victory. The inclusion of River Nymph didn't weaken my deck and I got an important win to keep climbing up the rankings on my way to Silver I.

CONCLUSIONS

River Nymph is a card that performs very well in low mana battles but suffers in medium to high mana conditions as its basic stats are quite limited. It's a deck-building card that's more for its special abilities than for the power it provides It's a card to have in your deck, but it will only come into battle very rarely and under very specific conditions. It is a situational card rather than an all-rounder that can be used in any situation and scenario. For me, a card to include in our roster and I give it a score of 5 out of 10.
River Nymph es una carta que rinde muy bien en batallas con poco maná pero que sufre en condiciones de maná medio-alto ya que sus estadísticas básicas son bastante limitadas. Es una carta para construir el mazo buscando aprovechar al máximo sus habilidades especiales más que por el poder que proporciona. Es una carta para tener en tu mazo aunque teniendo en cuenta que va a entrar en batalla en muy contadas ocasiones y bajo condiciones muy concretas. Es una carta situacional más que un todoterreno de los que nos sirven en cualquier situación y escenario. Para mi, una carta a incluir en nuestro roster y a la que le doy una nota de 5 sobre 10.
