Social Media Challenge: Ujurak Mystic [EN - ESP]
Hello again, friends. Welcome to a new edition of the Social Media Challenge. I continue with the dynamic I started last week analysing the different starter cards of the new Rebellion edition. This week it's the turn of a card from the land deck that, unfortunately, I don't use properly and I end up suffering an embarrassing defeat. Still, from this defeat I draw some good conclusions about the possible future use of this card. So let's begin.
Hola de nuevo, amigos. Bienvenidos a una nueva edición del reto Social Media Challenge. Sigo con la dinámica que empecé la semana pasada analizando las diferentes cartas starter de la nueva edición Rebellion. Esta semana toca turno para una carta del mazo de tierra que, lamentablemente, no utilizo de manera adecuada y termino sufriendo una sonrojante derrota. Aún así, de esta derrota saco buenas conclusiones sobre el posible uso futuro de esta carta. Comenzamos pues.
This week I'll be looking at Ujuruk Mystic, a common rarity land deck card from the recently released Gladius edition. It has magic attack and very basic stats In the case of this card its strong point is its special ability that it has already in its initial level. Lookout is one of the new abilities that have arrived with the Rebellion edition and its effect is to reduce the damage that adjacent cards receive from the Sneak, Snipe and opportunity abilities as well as receiving half damage from another new ability: ambush.
Esta semana voy a analizar a Ujuruk Mystic. Estamos ante una carta del mazo de tierra de rareza común y perteneciente a la recién estrenada edición Gladius. Cuenta con ataque mágico y unas estadísticas muy básicas En el caso de esta carta su punto fuerte es su habilidad especial que tiene ya en su nivel inicial. Lookout es una de las nuevas habilidades que han llegado con la edición Rebellion y su efecto es el de reducir el daño que reciben las cartas adyacentes de las habilidades Sneak, Snipe y opportunity además de recibir la mitad de daño de otra habilidad nueva: ambush.
Ujuruk has one point of magic attack, two points of shield and speed, and three points of vitality at level 1 in addition to the Lookout ability. As he evolves, he will gain up to 6 points of speed, 4 points of shield and 5 points of vitality. In addition to Lookout, he will gain Void at level 5. A special note that you won't like is that his magic attack will not improve at any point in his evolution. He starts with one point and gets to level 10 with that same meagre point. It is clear that using this card is to use his special ability and not his magic attack damage. This is going to be vital when using Ujuruk in our line-up.
Ujuruk tiene un punto de ataque mágico, dos puntos de escudo y velocidad y tres puntos de vitalidad a su nivel 1 además de la habilidad Lookout. A medida que sube en su evolución va a ir ganando puntos hasta 6 puntos de velocidad, 4 de escudo y 5 de vitalidad. Además de Lookout va a ganar Void en el nivel 5. Como nota especial y que no te va a gustar es que su ataque mágico no va a mejorar en ningún momento de su evolución. Empieza con un punto y llega al nivel 10 con ese mismo escaso punto. Queda claro que utilizar esta carta es para utilizar su habilidad especial y no su daño por ataque mágico. Esto va a ser vital a la hora de utilizar a Ujuruk en nuestra alineación.
This week's battle will be a tough fight between two nature element decks. We're both going with Obsidian in the summoner role and we'll be aiming for the magic attack and the bonus it offers My line-up is a bit weaker and the presence of a card in my opponent's that reduces the magic attack of my fighters will be the reason that will be the determining factor in my defeat. Let's take a look at the battle itself and its development.
La batalla de esta semana será un duro combate entre dos mazos del elemento de naturaleza. Ambos vamos con Obsidian en el puesto de invocadora y apuntaremos hacia el ataque mágico y el bonus que ofrece Mi alineación es algo más débil y la presencia en la de mi rival de una carta que reduce el ataque mágico de mis combatientes va a ser la razón que sea determinante en mi derrota. Vamos a ver la batalla en si y su desarrollo.
The inclusion of Ujurak Mystic in my line-up didn't have a special weight as my opponent didn't, I hoped, place enough cards with the abilities that penalise his special ability. I still think it's an interesting card in a very specific context, but it's penalised by its low offensive and defensive power in general. I don't think it's going to be a card I'll use much in the future and, given this analysis, it's not one of my priorities to buy and evolve among the options offered by the new Rebellion edition.
La inclusión de Ujurak Mystic en mi alineación no ha tenido un peso especial ya que mi rival no ha colocado, esperaba que lo hiciera, suficientes cartas con las habilidades que penaliza su habilidad especial. Aún así me parece una carta interesante en un contexto muy determinado pero que queda muy penalizada por su escaso poder ofensivo y defensivo en general. Creo que no va a ser una carta que utlice mucho en el futuro y, visto este análisis, no entra en mis prioridades para comprar y evolución entre las opciones que nos ofrece la nueva edición Rebellion.
