Splinterlands Universe: What a journey! [EN - ESP]

I've just logged on to the Peakd website to see what the @splinterlands team is proposing for this week's Social Media Challenge. And in doing so, I have just gone back several months in time. The truth is that I was not expecting this theme and it has given me nostalgia and brought a little smile to young danideuder's face. A journey that will take me back to the end of the year 2021, will you join me?
Acabo de entrar en la página de Peakd para ver qué nos propone el equipo de @splinterlands de cara al reto Social Media Challenge de esta semana. Y al hacerlo, acabo de retroceder varios meses en el tiempo. La verdad es que no me esperaba esta temática y me ha dado nostalgia y ha sacado una pequeña sonrisa al joven danideuder. Un viaje que me va a hacer retroceder a finales del año 2021, ¿me acompañas?

It was September, if my head doesn't play tricks on me, in the year 2021. I had just arrived in the Hive universe and I started looking for what caught my attention: the games. So I came across one that reminded me of my youth with Magic The Gathering cards and I didn't think about it Once I bought the spell book, I started to enjoy the world that was opening up to me. So, I've been in this wonderful world for a little over two years now and I have no intention of leaving it, at least in the short term. Having more or less developed decks and enjoying the Silver League is enough for the moment.
Corría el mes de septiembre, si la cabeza no me juega una mala pasada, del año 2021. Acababa de llegar al universo Hive y empecé a buscar lo que mas me llamaba la atención: los juegos. Así que llegué a uno que me recordaba mi juventud con las cartas de Magic The Gathering y no lo pensé. Una vez comprado el libro de hechizos todo fue comenzar a disfrutar del mundo que se abría ante mí. Así las cosas, algo más de dos años llevo en este maravilloso mundo y no tengo intención de abandonarlo, al menos a corto plazo. Tener unos mazos más o menos desarrollados y disfrutar de la liga Plata es suficiente por el momento.

The apparent similarity with Magic caught me and the dynamics and lore made me stay in a game that, in addition, being in Web3 also provides me with an interesting source of income to diversify my path in this complex new universe of Web3. I started out spending more than an hour every day and, I'm not going to fool you, it's something that I can't and couldn't spend today. However, I have learnt to select my playing time and make the most of the little time I have and I have managed to settle in the Silver I league and get a good handful of chests both daily and seasonal. Right now I'm getting, in total, around 150 chests Not bad for a limited amount of game time but well spent.
La similitud aparente con Magic me atrapó y las dinámicas y el lore me hicieron quedarme en un juego que, además, estando en Web3 me proporciona también una interesante fuente de ingresos para ir diversificando mi camino en este complejo nuevo universo de la Web3. Comencé empleando más de una hora cada día y, no te voy a engañar, es algo que a día de hoy no puedo ni podría emplear. Sin embargo he aprendido a seleccionar el tiempo de juego y aprovechar al máximo el escaso tiempo que tengo y he conseguido asentatme en la liga Plata I y conseguir un buen puñado de cofres tanto diarios como de temporada. Ahora mismo estoy consiguiendo, en total, alrededor de 150 cofres. Nada mal para un tiempo de juego escaso pero bien aprovechado.

The medium-term goal that I'm 100% focused on is to reach 10,000 SPS in staking to keep increasing the rewards each season A goal of 200 chests per season will be the second goal and is directly related to the first one. Nothing else is on my to-do list right now, not even buying cards or upgrading decks. Winning and staking SPS is the main and exclusive focus.
El objetivo a medio plazo y en el que estoy centrado al 100% es el de alcanzar la cifra de 10.000 SPS en staking para seguir aumentando las recompensas cada temporada. Un objetivo de 200 cofres por temporada será el segundo objetivo y que está directamente relacionado con el primero. Nada más ocupa mi listado de tareas ahora mismo, ni siquiera comprar cartas o mejorar mazos. Ganar y stakear SPS es el focus principal y exclusivo.
With all this experience of more than 24 months playing and with a winning dynamic in spite of my moderate investment, there is one piece of advice I give to all the friends I am introducing to the game. One vital piece of advice that I can't help but give is that, in your first few weeks in the game, you shouldn't spend on buying cards like crazy Your first step is to play, get informed, watch battles of the best and analyse the different cards in the game. And once you've soaked up the knowledge, and only then, go to market with a clear strategy and power up at least two decks. You will save yourself a lot of time and money spent on cards that, in the end, you don't use and don't amortise and have to sell off. The best advice is, in short, learn from the mistakes of people like me, haha. Enjoy the exciting journey that is Splinterlands and ask any questions you may have. Con toda esta experiencia de más de 24 meses jugando y con una dinámica ganadora a pesar de mi moderada inversión hay un consejo que doy a todos los amigos a los que voy introduciendo en el juego. Un consejo vital y que no puedo dejar de aportar y es que, en tus primeras semanas en el juego, no debes gastar en comprar cartas a lo loco. Tu primer paso es jugar, informarte, ver batallas de los mejores y analizar las diferentes cartas que tiene el juego. Y una vez que te hayas empapado bien de conocimiento y solo entonces, lanzate al mercado con una estrategia clara y potencia, al menos, dos mazos. Te ahorraras mucho tiempo y dinero gastado en cartas que, al final, no utilizas y no amortizas y tienes que acabar malvendiendo. El mejor consejo es, resumiento, aprende de los errores de gente como yo, jajaja. Disfruta del apasionante viaje que es Splinterlands y consulta cualquier duda que tengas. Que los DIoses de Splinterlands te sean propicios, caminante.
