CANT TOUCH THIS! FLAWLESS VICTORY! Quix Vs Yodin !

OH NOOOOOO not yodin....... AGAIN!!!! sighs

This has been my general view on him as i do not have him, nor could i afford to have him. Often causing frustration at the developers for creating something so OP and so far out of my reach prisewise (granted the last part not their fault ) but then as i came across him so often in battles and tournaments my mindset began to change. He obviously wasnt going anywhere anytime soon as he would be playable in Modern format also!!!

So i started looking into what i could afford and "the cards i was dealt" (by buying chaos leigon packs) and i started to realise i shouldnt be getting angry at the developers i should focus on what actualy makes yodin tick and how to put out his flame !

COUNTER TIME!!!!
It didnt make sence trying to beat yodin with strenth alone, the whales would gobble me up in an instance.I needed to start outsmarting them and the more i focused on that the more the game bagn to become alive again.

GAME ON!!!!!!
The fun started to begin again , i was no longer whale food everytime, granted i was not 100 percent successfull everytime but the times i was successfull ment SOOOOO much more!!!!!

The battle your about to see is a battle between QUIX (myself) vs YODIN . I for one have been playing this game for a few months now (dice was still on sale in store, why i didnt buy no one knows) and the absolute battering this yodin got ive never seen anything like it , i had to post about it(sorry whomever you are) . I mean what better way to write your first post then about a YODIN BASHING , but this was more then that! This wasnt no ordenary victory, this was a "FINISH HIM" moment.I was exstatic, the joy i felt was the same as an oldtime favorite game i use to play im sure you know the one .

heres the breakdown :

Using Quix added a slow and headwinds reducing ranged damage by 1 and speed by 1, that alone is a great start against yodin and a great foudation to form your counter!

I then considered what pairs well with yodin and I knew ranged attack should be used shomwhere in his/her linup and that they were also going to hit hard. So in my mind I could either put a massive meat shield in the first position and the second positon to absorb the damage from the blast OR I could dodge the hell out of his attacks . I ended up choosing the void dragon for his speed and his ability to dodge no only melee and range but magic also.

`The problem was a couple of hits and the void dragon would have been history and if that was the case i needed someone in the second position capable of taking some damage but also dealing quite a bit of damage. What better match then the Carnage titan , certinally capable of taking and dealing damage !

As I was now focusing on attacking the first position I now needed to concentrate on the back line , chaos dragon had all the goods !! The blind would increase my chances of dodging with the void dragon and the scattershot with blast would hopefully target the back line

For my forth position i wanted to try and make sure each one of carnage titans hits counted as he probably wouldnt have many and theres nothing more frustrating then being on the other end of a shield repair , well there is but you get the point. So i needed to try and get rid of any shields they had or try to atleast. Time mage offered rust thats minus 2 shield and if that wasnt good enough it also offered slow ! MORE CHANCE OF DODGE ?!?!?! How could i say no ? picking anyone else now would just be an insult , i had to do it !

Having magic and melee in my selection, position 5 had a few responsibilities .The first was to get rid of any shield left over that the rust did not take care of, the second it had to attack be before carnage titan made his strike and the third was to be able to survive atleast the first round if need be. Supply runner met the critera not only did he increase speed by 1 , he was ranged ,quicker then my carnage titan and 3 ranged damage to boot . Meaning anything up to 5 shield would be gone before my carnage titan strikes !

Dr blight in positon 6 to bring it all together. my thought process was after destroying my opponets potential shield i didnt want them rehealing either , affliction was a must , the poison would also slowly tick away at thier first position , the other abilities were just a pro.

My time was about to run out and i submitted my team and boy what a match it turned out to be ! A beacon of hope that the DREADED yodin is no longer a nighmare that wont go away !
