dCrops - Winter has Started and Alpha Pack Contest

dCrops Sponsors Splinterlands Tournament

I like playing dCrops because it is very easy to play and does not require a lot of time. I enjoy the simple nature of the game.

I also like playing Splinterlands as well but for some other totally different reasons. When looking for my next tournament to enter on Splinterlands, I noticed @dcrops.events hosting a tournament and giving away dCrops Alpha Packs.

You can not purchase Alpha packs in-game, they sold out months and months ago. You can only purchase them on Hive-Engine.

Since this is a combination of two of the Hive Blockchain games that I play, I just had to enter the tournament. Besides it only costs 10 DEC to enter and I get more practice creating lineups.

Winter Planting Time

I had available for planting - 1 Cabbage (10 days), 1 Radish (7 days) and 3 Peas (4 days) seed.

I planted the mystery seed first because at the time it is unknown which seed it will become until after planting. Then I selected to plant the Cabbage since it would take 10 days to mature. The Radish was planted next since it takes 7 days to mature, leaving the Peas Seed.

I will need to pay closer attention to the passing of time this season so that I remember to harvest the first Peas after 4 days so that I can plant the next seed.

Mystery Seed - Radish

The mystery seed I purchased turned into a Radish seed card. If I would have purchased the card from the market it would have cost 0.609 Hive or 273 CROP tokens. Paying 40 Crop tokens for the mystery seed was a very economical decision saving over 200 CROP tokens.

15 Days Left in Fall Season

My CROP balance increased another 68 CROP with the sell of my harvested fall crop increasing my balance from 448.122 to 476.786 The increase was offset by the mystery seed for 40 CROP that I purchased instead of buying a specific seed from the Market.

Based on the result of that decision, I believe I will purchase another one closer to the end of the season so I will have it for next season.

Looks like some cross game senergy happening. You keep changing up what you plant each season.

The seeds that you can plant change each season however I have a limited number of seeds for each season. This is one of the reasons I purchase a mystery seed each season.
