Splinterlands Brawl - Only Match I truly won took 18 Rounds
I am in the H-E Index Squad Guild and I participate in each Brawl that is available. It is interesting that the guild has been participating in the brawls for a few months now. The Guild has an Average 6th place Brawl Rank usually out of 10 Guilds.
Our Guild Rank has jumped to #541 from #602 last week.
Brawl Results
This week, we were again able to finish in 7th place with 69 Points (23 Wins and 46 Loses). So we were again close to average with our 7th place finish.
I noticed there were several of the guilds that were playing with the new Gladius Cards. This means those guilds have upgraded their Barracks to Level 2. We are still working on upgrading ours to Level 1 so it will be awhile before we can add those cards to our lineup.
Individual Results
This week I did not do very well in the brawls. I finished 7th place in our guild this brawl. I won 2 of 7 matches. This brawl, I only won one actual matches with one of my opponents fleeing.
Only Won Match
I only won one match. It was a very long match that lasted 18 rounds. The match had a Mana cap of 19 with the Rule Sets of Equalizer and Broken Arrows. Also, only 4 of the Splinters could be used - Life, Death, Earth or Dragon. I had never faced the Summoner my opponent used so was unfamiliar with it's abilities.
By the 4th round, I still did not think I would be the victor as I had just lost my Tank.
By the 13th round, I was feeling much better about the match having taken out all but two of my opponents monsters. However it still took another 5 rounds to finish the match. Here is the replay, if you could provide some pointers regarding a better death lineup for 19 mana cap and those particular rule sets.

Great job on the win. That was a close battle.

I would generally do something similar. With Soul Strangler swapped out for another without ranged.(broken arrows rule)
The shield of Crypt beetle is a common strategy used in low mana battles where the opponent might use multiple low damage cards. The oponnent got the advantage of you picking the highest mana card. However you still filled all slots for a full deck.
I am still mixed thoughts on if you should concentrate your damage in one area on an equal health battle. ie 2 snipe or 2 sneak cards vs one of each.

Thanks for the details. I will see if I can work this into my lineups. Take care.

It looked like you set up your line pretty well. That devine shield from the summoner just means that all the cards can take one free hit before showing damage. It can help out in some battles but as you saw it can easily be beaten. I'm looking forward to the new format they are about to use in brawls that will change the frays to be better suited for Chaos Legion and Untamed cards.
