Splinterlands Dominates Ranking of Hive Engine Tokens With 24h Volume
After looking at the top ranked tokens on Hive Engine, it appears that Gaming assets are by far more popular than the other 2nd Layer non-gaming tokens.
This week there are 788 tokens reflected on Hive Engine with 101 of those having 24 hour volume greater than $1.00 compared to 109 last week.
Splinterlands Gaming Tokens Dominates Top 10 Rankings
With all of the announcements from the Splinterlands Community, it is no wonder that all of the top 10 are Splinterland Gaming Assets. This week they released two new tokens - Rift and Nightmare. Rift is the Splinterlands card pack known as RiftWatchers. Nightmare is a pack for the brand new Tower Defense game which will be release around the end of the year.
Even though the License "SPS Validator Node License" was not in the ranking last week due to no volume in the prior 24 hour period, it made a grand entrance into the top 10 due to it's Market Cap, Price and 24 hour volume.
LEO and BEE Stay Strong
Rankings 11th thru 20th:
Both LEO and BEE held strong in the ranking from last week. The top 20 also included several other Games based on the Hive Platform - WOO, Level 1 and RisingStar.
Prior Ranking Column Added
I added a new column so that everyone can see the prior week's ranking of the Hive Engine Tokens. I was surprised to see so many new tokens with 24 hour volume this week and so many from last week that did not have at least $1.00 of 24 hour volume.
Do Your Own Research
The main take away from this post is that you should do your own research and not rely on anyone else's list because you will never know the full motivation behind the information they are sharing with you. Find out all the use cases, get to know the community and what development is in the pipeline for the tokens.

Yes there is lots of new stuff from Splinterlands this week. Nightmare packs are an interesting name.
