Splinterlands - Focused Savings Helps Purchase Splinterland Summoners
Two weeks ago, I had posted that I needed leveled up summoners to be more competitive and last week I was able to purchase and level up General Sloan summoner to level 2.
With my diligence in saving earnings from various tokens and the drop of the summoner prices due to the start of the Splinterlands general Chaos Legion pack sale. I have been able to purchase two additional summoners.
Focused Savings
I have been taking 10% of my earnings from various tokens, selling them and buying DEC in the attempt to have enough savings to purchase summoners so that I can be more competitive.
With my diligence in saving earnings from various tokens and the drop of the summoner prices due to the start of the Splinterlands general Chaos Legion pack sale. I have been able to purchase two additional summoners.
Two New Gold Summoners
The prices have dropped some for the Chaos Legion Summoners. I choose to purchase the gold foil instead of regular because I believe the gold foil cards hold their value better than the regular foils cards. Plus you get a 10% bonus for won ranked matches.
I decided to purchase Obsidian and Tarsa as these are two of the splinters that I use the most often.
Obsidian
Obsidian is a very powerful summoner that provides a +1 to all magic users in your lineup. I have several lineups that I have a few common leveled up cards in the Earth splinter that will now play at their higher level.
Tarsa
Likewise with Tarsa, I have a few common leveled up cards in the Fire splinter that will now be able to be played at their higher level. Tarsa is powerful with the + 1 Melee and +1 Health.

Great job on getting some lvl 2 summoners. It helps you play all of your cards that are available and wins the matches that are close.

I have noticed that prices are dropping quite a bit with the increased supply on the market. I expect prices to continue to drop until chaos legion is completely sold out. So great job picking things up for cheap.

I hope so, I have been on a losing run and I need quite a few wins to get back up to Silver III. It might not take as long since I have the new summoners.

Yes, I hope they help me because I really need it. I was thinking of getting a few of the common GF as well.
