Splinterlands - Season End Report and Leveled Up Venari Seedsmith

During the season, I received enough Rare Venari Seedsmith cards so that I was level it up to the second level. I did use this card occasionally in my lineups this season. With level 2, it has +1 health from level 1. This should help it not be killed as quickly when used during matches. Slowly but surely, I am leveling up my cards to the next levels.

Season End Performance Report

I ended the Season with an over abundance of points for the Silver III League with a rating of 1584. I won 5 less matches than in season past and my Win/Loss ratio was slightly higher than last season 0.98 (this season) vs 0.94 (last season). I was able to win 164 of my 332 matches with my longest win streak of 7 matches. I fought 16 matches less than I did last season.

This Season, I played in my first tournament but did not place or win anything. I will probably try again in the future but it is not high on my priority list. I need to play and win more ranked matches.

Season End Rewards

I individually rented my cards to get me up to Silver III with four days left in the season once I had the Silver III rating. I would say my rewards were ok this season. In all, I received 6 Cards (1 Rare and 5 common). This was one card less than last season but at least this time I had 1 rare card instead of all common. I also received 34 DEC, and 2 Legendary and 1 Alchemy potions. I was hoping for higher cards but I will take any cards that I can get.

Matched Win Rewards

With 164 wins that I was able to have this season, I received 192 in DEC rewards. 7 fewer than last season. At least it appears that the DEC rewards are stabilizing compared to the large drop from prior seasons. I will be glad when then return to prior levels but until then I will keep grinding out my matches. The lower rewards make even more pressing to get up into the Silver league as early in the season as possible.

Loot Chests

I was able to complete almost one daily quest per day. This was very good as it provided me with 7 additional cards, 4 Legendary and 2 Alchemy potions. I also received 39 credits as rewards at the beginning of the season.

Reward Cards

I did not receive any Gold, Epic or Legendary cards this season from either the daily quests or the season end rewards. But I did receive 4 Rare cards which I am hoping can be leveled up soon. Then additional collection power is not much but every little bit I receive reduces the amount of cards I need to rent each season to be in the Silver III League.

Rented Into Silver III

I rented enough cards so that I could be in the Silver III League. Renting cards is a balancing act between the cost of rentals and the DEC you win during ranked matches. I only rented when my rating was high enough that I would receive additional rewards if I was in the higher League. Also, this season I had been tracking the most used cards in my lineups and rented the gold version of them when I needed the additional collection power.

The rental rates for me appeared to be slightly lower than last season. This could be that I rented less because I had more collection power this season compared to last. I had a few rentals pulled on me during the last two days of the season so I needed to rent additional cards at higher rates. Overall I had net rental expenses of 49.316 DEC for the season.
