BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! / Even Stevens.

In this battle I faced @ALBERSUMME71 in the silver league, the maximum mana was 20 and there were two conditions, the first was Super Sneak and the second Even Stevens, that is, the first condition caused that cards with direct attack could make attacks from any position and Even Stevens generates that we can only use cards that have an even mana consumption.

One of the difficulties of this battle was the low amount of mana allowed, so I had to create a precise and effective strategy, so I selected a team composed of earth element cards.

As a summoner I selected Immortalis, this would allow me to reduce the damage to magical attacks, eliminate the opponent's shields and reduce -1 ❤️ of life; while the first position I used Terraceous Grunt (Level 3), this has 10 ❤️ of life, plus the ability to have more chances to dodge, then I used Wood Nymph (Level 3), this would serve to perform magical attacks and at the same time could heal the life of Terraceous Grunt.

In the third position, I placed Madcap Magus (Level 2), this could cause damage with his magical attacks and at the same time increase the life for each attack and finally, I placed Fungus Fiend, this would be a decoy, that is, it would serve to prevent Madcap Magus from receiving the first attack and would also have the ability to attack from that position, since the battle had the Super Sneak condition.

Meanwhile, my opponent used the following equipment of the Dead and Dragon element: Drake of Arnak, Djinn Chwala, Naga Assasin and Cursed Windeku.

Round 1: At the beginning of the battle the first to come out was Fungus Fiend, i.e., it happened as predicted, since it was the decoy that would prevent other cards from taking damage.

Round 2: In the next stage of the battle, Naga Assassin was the victim, due to the fact that he left the battle after being attacked by Madcap Magus with his magic.

Round 3: In the first moves of this round, Madcap Magus and Djjin Chwala were destroyed, so my opponent had only one monster left and on my side of the field there were two left.

Rounds 4,5,6: My opponent had the advantage of having Cursed Windeku alive, since he has the ability to weaken enemies with his spines and at the same time attack, while on my side of the field I had Terraceous Grunt and Wood Nymph, the latter would allow me to heal and contribute with the attacks.

Although it seemed easy, the battle went on for three rounds, but in the end the combination of healing and attacking was able to destroy Cursed Windeku and that's how I got the victory.

Conclusion.

As I have already mentioned, in this battle the strategy had to be precise, and I was able to get the victory by means of magic attacks and healing, in addition to the abilities of my summoner and my monsters, which have up to 4 abilities in this battle. The Even Stevens condition is interesting because it does not cause serious effects, but it does limit the use of cards, since it is only possible to use cards that have an even mana consumption, therefore, we must create strategies based on the cards we have available.
