BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! / Holy Protection.

This time we had to demonstrate our abilities under the Holy Protection condition, I think that this condition only works as a protection at the beginning, but it does not generate many changes throughout the battle, for this reason I think we can use our usual strategy, but there are also ways to make the protection break faster; for this you have to use cards with the Blast ability, as it can cause damage to two or three cards at the same time, that is to say with a single attack the Holy Protection effect is deactivated. It is worth mentioning that I will describe one battle and at the end I will add a bonus from another battle.

In this battle I faced @Shini-bee-one, the maximum mana was 39, and there were two conditions Holy Protection and Up to Eleven, i.e. divine protection and the ability to amplify, for this type of battle I love to use magic cards and healing, either with a team of the earth or water element, the summoner of the battle was Alric Stormbringer at level #3, to increase the attack of my cards and Riverboat Captain, as this has the ability Blast and will be key in my team.


First I placed Kelp Initiate level #2, in the gold version, this serves as a tank, then Djinn Oshannus at level #2, this would be useful in attack and can reduce magic damage, thirdly Riverboat Captain, this is one of my favourite cards from the most recent edition of Splinterlands, but I still don't have the number of cards to level him up, then I placed Merdaali Guardian to be able to heal my cards. Finally, I used Deeplurker at level #3 and lastly Phantom of The Abyss, as he can attack and defend at the same time as he has a lot of speed.

While my opponent I use: Thaddius Brood, Cursed Windeku, Disintegrator, Venari Bonesmith, Dhampir Stalker, Silent Sha-vi and Uraeus.

  • Round 1: In the first round Kelp Initiate was destroyed, but this battle was beneficial for me, as in the following rounds I destroyed my opponent and didn't lose any other cards.
  • Rounds 2,3,4: In this stage I destroyed Cursed Windeku, Disintegrator, Venari Bonesmith and used a direct attack to finish Uraeus.
  • Round 5: In the last round I destroyed Dhampir Stalker and Silent Sha-vi, i.e. I destroyed my opponent and didn't suffer any damage, I only lost one card.


Conclusion.

In conclusion my strategy with a magic team and using healing was effective, but one of the main keys was Riverboat Captain, as the Blast ability caused damage to several monsters and finished with the protective shield they had faster, that gives an extra advantage in battles. Now I'll leave another example of a battle with a ground team, where we also used magic cards and healing.
