Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! / Analysis of current rewards and upgrades.
The week before I told you about the old reward system, I also made a comparison of the types of rewards you could get based on the rank of chests and identified the best rewards today. But after the Splinterlands team's announcement there were slight changes, in the reward system and on some rules in the basic game modes.
The above affects or produces changes that allow new players to have a better experience in the game, but also affects the promotion mode and reward pools per league, so let's analyze several aspects to compare the differences between this season and the previous ones.
Points in rating and promotion in wild and modern mode.
Previously, the way of scoring points and promotion in the leagues could be confusing, since winning or losing added a number of points that were often changeable and unfavorable. Sometimes the amount of points per loss was higher than those obtained for each victory. But nowadays, the system of fixed points is more favorable, and it is perfectly understood, since we can predict or understand the amount of points to be obtained for each victory and winning streak.
On the other hand, the matchmaking is also making the in-game experience more enjoyable, as the way each player is matched up is fairer; this makes the battles more balanced. From my point of view, my experience with the matchmaking and point scoring, in both modes, has been very positive in the last season.
Comparison of reward pools.
It is quite interesting how the rewards have been distributed over the last few months in each mode and their leagues, but currently we have seen a reduction in the lower leagues, and although it may seem unfair, I think it makes sense, as there is now a better way to match players and add rating points, therefore it makes sense that as there are more facilities, there are also lower rewards. While in the higher leagues, it is normal for the total amount of rewards to be higher, as there are more difficulties.
Now based on the rewards obtained in the chests, there seem to be differences, since in the last season I could see an increase, by the fact that figures (SPS) higher than usual were reflected in my daily and end of season rewards. It is not the first time that when there are changes, higher rewards are distributed, but it would be quite beneficial to keep the rewards obtained in the chests constant.

In the daily rewards and end of season rewards, I observed a recurring pattern of increasing SPS rewards in the chests, but when analyzing other accounts I did not observe such drastic changes. So I will take my stats as a reference, as previously in the silver league I was getting from 0.1, 03 SPS, and less frequently from 1 to 3 SPS in chests, but after the update I have managed to get chests with 6 or 10 SPS, which is significant.
Conclusion.
The changes generated in the last season are quite positive for new and frequent users; as we can have a better perception and development in the game modes and their leagues. That is to say, the game becomes more understandable and entertaining. Even so, we still need to know the statistics of this season, since it is easy to know the total amount of rewards to be distributed per battle, but the reward ranges per chest may have variations. It is worth mentioning that this analysis is based on my own rewards and pools, it is likely that the experience of other players has been different.
