The last week has been very interesting because of my promotion to the gold league 1, my goal is to reach the diamond league, but it is also a period of adaptation because of the new Splinterlands updates. For this reason I am going to give my opinion and analyze the positive aspects or advantages of the changes made on April 2 in the reward system, the store and the addition of the Glint token.
Previously I had talked about the model of adding points to move up in the ranking and the matching of users in the battles, I think it has improved a lot in that aspect, since now the way to move up or down is more fair or correct.
The new reward system promotes Stake.
The new reward system seems to encourage users to make more battles to earn SPS, but also promotes or motivates users to acquire and make Stake of cards they acquire with the Glint token, therefore having more cards can increase their level, this is a way to make stronger our deck of cards and thus have a better performance in the battles to get SPS tokens.
This time Splinterlands has everything in its favor for users to keep the assets in their accounts, since the Glint token and SoulBound cards can not be exchanged in the market, so all users are obliged to keep their earnings or rewards frozen. This way, the user will be motivated to play more battles to get more SPS.
The rewards store.
From my point of view, the store is well-structured, besides being visually very nice and easy to use, despite that I thought that the store would allow using the Glint tokens to buy Packs of cards that included 4 or 5, but the reality is that the store only offers options of different categories or levels that include one or two cards and a certain number of copies.
Even so, the new reward system is fascinating, as it allows us to use Glint tokens to select the type of rewards we want, whether they are potions, cards, merits or energy purchase. This is a way to get what we need, the only regret is that it will no longer be possible to see surprises of SPS tokens, as was the case with the chests.
The advantages of the new update for the project.
Normally when assets are frozen or held within a project or not sold. This is beneficial, since the assets or tokens maintain the value, but when there are constant withdrawals or sales the value drops or degrades, so I think the update represents an advantage for the project, since the cards soul bindings and the Glint token are not tradable. So it's about maintaining the value and incentivizing players to invest, strengthen and grow in Splinterlands, I guess that was always the goal since the creation of the project.

Previously I used to do my analysis based on the modern and wild leagues, as they were the best way to get Packs and SPS in battles and chests, but now none of that exists, as everything has changed. Even so, there still remain great opportunities with the increased rewards per battle and in other game modes, be it clan battle rewards and tournaments.
Conclusion.
I believe that there are still many opportunities within Splinterlands, the goal of all players should be to accumulate. It is also a great opportunity to move up, since the last changes many players have managed to move up to higher leagues. Finally, the player should prioritize their growth in the game because in the future it is likely that more players will enter and being better positioned will be a great opportunity or benefit.
