Hi splinterlanders!! Once again I bring a report this week dedicated to this week challenge the Dragon deck in in Splinterlands. This week is a short battle in my noob league, that led to a fast defeat using a Dragon summoner...

THE CARD

For this week's challenge I chose DRAKE OF ARNAK a dragon summoner with 13787 cards in circulation and i am the proud owner of one of them. I have it at first level because am a noobian and i will add more in the future...for show!!! The level for this battle is one so only 1 card per strength each. However I wont be using more than two cards as is a low mana battle.

THE STRATEGY

As this week was a very low 13 mana battle and my opponent as chosen mainly in his previous games death and water splinters I decided to go for Death with Dragon summoner, as I know in lower mana battles it usually does well against water, and moreover if he decided to choose death instead I will at least have similar cards to counter his strategy with. I decide to use
DRAKE OF ARNAK summoner as it gives a small 1+ armour boost, and if my opponent chooses death and CURSED WINDEKU a tank with thorns as i will use myself as a tank, at least it will have the first armour hit advantage.
So I used then as I mentioned CURSED WINDEKU a strong 6 mana tank with thorns ability 2 Melee 3 Speed and 9 Health and (+1)armour. Then right behind I used LIFE SAPPER a magic card with 1 Magic 2 Speed and 2 Life +1 Armour from the summoner, I thought that if my opponent chose the magic snipper at least I might have the chance to have one more Life point from his life sapping ability.

when the match started my opponent had chosen death as I have deducted,
he choose the summoner TADDIUS BROOD with a -1 magic and -1 health, CURSED WINDEKU as a tank and then DEATH ELEMENTAL a magic sniper with 1 magic 3 speed and 2 health...I foreseen a very tight match...

THE MATCH
So as the match started I realized that my opponent has the advantage of firt shot, so his summoner TADDIUS BROOD with a -1 magic and -1 health took my LIFE SAPPER'S advantage as it has 2 Life and the DRAKE OF ARNAK's armour boost cant do anything about magic...so first hit it took it out of the picture and I was left out to deal only with my CURSED WINDEKU against his two remaining cards CURSED WINDEKU and DEATH ELEMENTAL so the die was cast and from turn 1 a defeat was almost certain unless i got some misses from his tank...The rest of the match as the tanks exchanged blows and his sniper was grinding my already deteriorated -1 health from his summoner, and my luck of a miss from his tank eventually he perished thus ending this short battle...

AFTERTHOUGHTS
I think I could have won the battle I might had been the first to start and of course his summoner would have been a different one perhaps a ranged one or ZINTAR MORTALIS with -1 Melee. Regardless I think the Dragon summoner DRAKE OF ARNAK would have been certainly successful in another battle with similar characteristics, so it is always a great card to have...so get your hand in one if you can as it is a very versatile card...
