Hi Everyone, once more with you the worst splinterland player of the earth...today I am trying the challenge again this time dedicated to the Shadow Snitch card in Splinterlands. This is the first time I used it as i bought it just a couple of weeks ago to complete my collection of common cards of Chaos Legion, I hardly use also secondary tanks with reach such as this one, usually add a strong sneaker with low armour behind my tanks...Anyway it was a nice experience as I won unexpectedly as you will see below...

THE CARD

Shadow Snitch is a common death card from chaos legion pack with reach ability in lower stats, affliction and dodge in the high Tier...The match took part on the Bronze Level the stats that we should focus are the Level 1
4 mana 1 Melee 1 Speed no armour and 5 health. Not a particularly impressive card but for a low mana battle such as the one I did it came pretty handy as a whipping boy behind my tank. Sadly death deck doesn't have any armour enhancing cards so it is hard to keep it alive for long.

THE STRATEGY
My opponent @egnn14 had chosen in his last 5 battles the Earth Splinter, a very heavy magic based line ups usually with Unicorn with void in front and plenty of heavy magic hitters in back, as I am also an Earth user I know quite well those set ups, so I had to make a choice or play Earth as he will probably do, or try something to surprise him, and I thought Death with the summoner Taddius Brood with a -1 magic and -1 health could also be a counter to his heavy based magic line up...The match was a 20 mana max, so I had to choose my cards carefully...I did this line up with the intention to counter Earth, so first the summoner Taddius Brood with a -1 magic and -1 health, for my tank I chose Cursed Windeku with the Thorns ability to counter his 'probable' Unicorn with void tank, right behind I chose our friend Shadow Snitch with the stats mentioned above, to be a back hitter to his heavy tank. The last position I placed a card that I actually bought today the Epic monster Magi Necrosi also from the Chaos Legion deck, He is a fast sniper with 2 magic 4 speed and 4 health with the added ability of camouflage so he cant be targeted by sneakers, and placed it right at the back in case he had some, and i could target from afar his magic based cards...but...

...to my surprise when the battle started my opponent had chosen a Fire deck based line up..damm it...so much thinking for nothing 😂 he probably thought I was going to counter him with Earth so chose to give me a virtual slap... He had chosen** Pyre **the +1 speed summoner, as a tank Living Lava 3 Melee 1 speed 2 Armour and 6 Health with shield ability. Then Serpentine Spy the opportunity ability and 2 Melee 3 Speed 1 Health. Followed by Goblin Chariot 2 Ranged 3 Speed and 3 Health and as a last card another ranged card the Goblin Fireballer with 1 Ranged 1 Speed and 2 Health

THE MATCH
So as I explained before a I thought he would use the Earth Deck so my strategy was on tatters at this point, as I was almost certain he would go for it, so now it was down to fate and to see how my line up will work on those fire dudes...
the match started well for me Magi Necrosi killed the Goblin Chariot right away...Then Serpentine Spy attacked our protagonist Shadow Snitch taking him 2 Health then my tank went for his tank but his shield ability only dented his armour, his Goblin Fireballer now attacked my tank Cursed Windeku taking one Health, then turn for his Tank to take 2 health from mine but at the cost of his armour thanks to my thorns...Last to act was our friend Shadow Snitch with his 1 Melee he did absolutely nada to the Living Lava (and here is an unplanned rhyme...)

Turn 2 again started with Magi Necrosi the best in my line up for this match he took the life of the Goblin Fireballer, so 2 cards vs 3...Then it was the turn again for his Serpentine Spy that attacked again the today useless Shadow Snitch, although to be fair he was sucking all those hits instead of my other cards...so good for him...Then my Cursed Windeku attacked his tank and took only 1 Health but as he has thorns again when attacked lost another one. Then again Shadow Snitch didn't do much having a big ) in my screen for the hit against his tank.

Turn 3 Magi Necrosi attacked his tank and left him with 1 Health, things started to look peachy for me, his Serpentine Spy finally ended the life of our today's whipping boy Shadow Snitch. Finally my tank finished his tank and now faced the Serpentine Spy but my Magi Necrosi was faster this time and managed to finish him before he could act on Turn 4 first move...

AFTERTHOUGHTS
So after this fight I can say that I wont be using this card much as I do not enjoy the reach ability unless is a strong Melee and maybe Flyin' fighter like the Roc in the Fire Deck...It is useful to be used as a whipping boy or second tank as it was shown in this match but not much more than that to be honest, really like the design of the card though!!!
