Hello friends of this very active spiterlnds community.
Today I return to my memories in this weekly reunion. And I say memories because the card I have chosen to illustrate takes me directly to my childhood, to meet my heroes with capes and swords, bows and arrows and other attire and attributes of the environment and times they represented.
At least those heroes were easier to imitate and even more credible. This card reminds me of two television legends: Robin Hood and the Black Arrow.
Either of the two heroes of medieval forests and castles would make me take a machete and in the gore of any flexible tree, cut a branch to make my own bow and arrows. It was as simple as that.
Ecological toys, third world and without any cost, because the thread was very easy to find in any tobacco curing house, besides, if they broke, they were easy to replace, although sometimes you got attached to a specific one.
That is why, in this creative process, I have first shown how I made my toy, and then I replaced the primary scene of the card with a country scene of my surroundings, including the landscape with tall grasses and palms. Besides modifying the warrior for a little guajirito (maybe myself) with his cape of any material and his little hat so typical of the Cuban countryside.
For the rest, the resources used were a small blue pencil and another one with black ink, with which I have made most of the drawing and a sheet of chrome paper letter size.
Here I show you this warrior of bow, arrows and cape of any material, who in his childhood raided imaginary castles, ran through fabulous forests on the banks of a river and created his own weapons to live the Age of the real wonderful.

Hola amigos de esta muy activa comunidad de espiterlnds.
Hoy vuelvo sobre mis recuerdos en este reencuentro semanal. Y digo sobre los recuerdos porque la carta que he escogido para ilustrar me lleva directamente a la infancia, a encontrarme con mis héroes de capas y espadas, arcos y flechas y otros atuendos y atributos propios del entorno y épocas que representaban.
Por lo menos aquellos héroes eran más fáciles de imitar e incluso más creíbles. Esta carta me recuerda a dos leyendas televisiva:Robin Hood y la flecha negra.
Cualquiera de los dos héroes de bosques y castillos medievales me hacía tomar un machete y en el gajo de cualquier árbol flexible, cortar una rama para armar mi propio arco y mis flechas. Así de sencillo.
Juguetes ecológicos, tercermundistas y sin costo alguna, pues el hilo era muy fácil de encontrar en cualquier casa de curar tabaco, además, si se rompían, eran fáciles de reponer, aunque uno a veces se encariñaba con uno en específico.
Por eso, en este proceso creativo ,primero he mostrado como yo realizaba mi juguete, y después sustituí la escena primaria de la carta por una campestre de mi entorno, incluyendo el paisaje con altas yerbas y palmas. Además de modificar al guerrero por un guajirito (quiza yo mismo) con su capa de cualquier material y su sombrerito tan típico del campo cubano.
Por lo demás, los recursos empleados fueron un lapicero azul en poca medida y otro de tinta negra, con lo que he realizado la mayor parte del dibujo y una hoja de papel cromado tamaño carta.
Aquí les muestro a este guerrero de arco, flechas y capa de cualquier material, que en su infancia asaltó castillos imaginarios, corrió por bosques fabulosos en las orillas de un río y creaba sus propias armas para vivir la Era de lo real maravilloso.

Justo esta semana me estaba acordando que en una época dibujé con lapiceros y era muy gratificante, no sé por qué lo dejé de hacer, su dibujó quedó maravilloso, un trabajo muy minucioso, primero el boceto luego la luz y las sombras, realmente ¡Muy bueno! y me encantó esa máscara al final.
Pregunta: ¿Cucucucu? 😅
