Farewell my beloved chook

And so it is with a somewhat heavy heart that I have today decided to put my beloved chook on the market. The world is ever-changing, and some say that change is good. But the world can also be cruel, and so it is that the chook finds himself on the fork (not literally uggh I couldnt bear to see him barbecued) of these 2 anomalies with the release of the new zero mana cost chaos edition cards. Yup, unfortunately for my buddy who has never asked for anything in return. He who has gone out there match after tiring match to take the brunt of 1st card up or as backmarker cannon-fodder, never grumbling or refusing an order to fight. He who on all too many occassions has only lasted seconds into a battle, often taking the first blow before going down with a screaming, ear-piercing squawk, while at the same time always bringing a grin to my face, as if to to add insult to injury. That I will never tire of but so it is with the chook.

He has always epitomised that age old adage of "taking one for the team". And no doubt once sold, he will continue to do the same for his new owner. Thats just how it is with the chook. Always giving but never asking for anything in return.

So, to the question of why?? Why would I sell such a loyal companion?

Well, because I noticed at level 7 he's worth about $500 is why mwuhahahahahahahaha. Yup, who would have thought a card (dont take that word personally chook) could now be worth so much $$$?? And since I have gathered a few new zero mana cost cards from the chaos legion series, the chook has become expendable. Oh the irony, that a card that was worth nothing, and was a bit of a joke, should with his new worth find his head on the chopping block. I'm sure he would prefer to be sold to KFC and coated in 11 secret herbs and spices but we all know a Splinterlands chook never gets any rest from battle. Such is the life of a chook.

Farewell my faithful feathered friend! Hopefully you will indeed be the ~~goose ~~chook that laid the golden egg.

Farewell ckickin

my level 6 is about $250(I rarely use it) and my gold level 3 is about $200 ( i always use this one for the gold card bonus)

i just threw 10k $dec in the trash upgrading our store , hmmm maybe i should put my level 6 on the market to recoup my losses.

(btw i'm j/k about losses - i'm just having fun playing this crazy game)

Ha yes I noticed that huge contribution and be assured its not wasted. One lesson I have learned in life is the benefits of giving. Keep an eye on that store upgrade :)
