Olive Tree Sale starts on 20th Jan, 5:30:00 PM GMT

We are extremely thrilled to announce that the Splinterlands community voted to pass our proposal(Proposal for a Collaborative Event between dCrops and Splinterlands DAO) with an overwhelming 89% approval.

Proposal Summary: We're holding a sale for an NFT in dCrops using DEC at its pegged value and all DEC received from the sale will be burned. Moreover, dCrops will also be gifting dCrops BETA Edition packs of equivalent value to the SPS DAO.

We are incredibly excited about the upcoming sale of the Olive Tree NFT in our partnership with Splinterlands! This event not only represents a significant moment for both dCrops and Splinterlands communities, but it also marks the beginning of what we hope will be a long and fruitful relationship between our two platforms.

The overwhelming approval of our proposal is a testament to the strong community support and shared vision we have in enhancing the gaming experience through creative and collaborative efforts. Our decision to hold this sale and the unique features of the Olive Tree NFT demonstrate our commitment to innovation and responsiveness to community feedback.

The Sale Specifics

The timing for the sale has been set to:

Saturday, January 20, 2024 5:30:00 PM GMT

The sale will be held on our site at https://dcrops.com/christmas#nftSale. You can only buy 4 NFTs in a single transaction but there is no limit for the total amount you can buy. The DEC must be held in your hive-engine wallet.

The Olive Tree Has Been Buffed!

As mentioned in the proposal, we're holding the sale for the Olive Tree NFT. It was originally planned for the Olive Tree to produce 2 olives but after some community feedback and consideration, it has been decided to change it to 3 Olives per day.

Thus the Olive Tree will now produce 3 Olives per day of 4 shares each.

Olive Tree will produce olives during its first Fall and Winter seasons

Another point to note is that the tree is of spring season. In dCrops, seeds and trees only produce yield during their season (each season lasts 15 days). This means players buying the Olive Tree during the sale would have to wait for approximately 2 seasons to start using the tree.

To remedy this, we're holding an introductory offer where the Olive Tree NFT will be able to produce Olives during the first Fall and Winter seasons it encounters so that players can use the tree right away!

We are beyond thrilled about this upcoming sale and sincerely hope that it resonates well with all of you.
