Season End Reward Update

Hi guys it's finally time to update my long awaited season end rewards (chey jokes 15 days not very long awaited but still long enough). So today would be the 2nd time I wait to collect my season end rewards. However, it seems like it is lagging again.

I wonder if my 2nd season end reward would be successful tomorrow? Based on my 1st season end rewards, it should be.

I would also like to talk about my first season end reward because it seems like I was able to get back the lost chests that I had in my 1st season. My 1st ever season end reward was also lagging when I played splinterlands. I had a lot of issues while playing and I was panicking ( u can see me fomo here https://hive.blog/hive-13323/@deathstarer7/season-end-reward ) because I did not get my chests. Turns out it was all just a scare, phew (u can read my experiences below hehe)

Time to backtrack to when I first started splinterlands and got my rewards

I know this is a long overdue post but please don’t flame me I know it’s my fault for not researching more on the power to post haiz ok fine flame me whatever u want maybe this can make me remember to not post recklessly?

Omg guys I'm so glad I got back my rewards!! There were actually 5 chests for me to claim gosh. (In my first post, I said 1 chest lol seems like I didn't read the league rewards oops...ok but fair enough if I read it I would have fomo-ed even more about my 5 chests ahahaha) Look at these rewards. Imagine if I didn't get them back, I would have really missed out a lot. (to me it's a lot for a newbie hehe)

So what actually happened

On the night of 30th Aug 2021, I was trying to clear my quests and tried to rank but the system kept loading and loading. I had to refresh multiple times before the system matched me with someone and the timer became 1min. So I literally had 1 min to look at my opponent's previous used cards and choose my cards. It was pretty stressful because I was so scared the system would say I surrendered. Luckily, I managed to complete them. Yesterday morning(31st Aug 2021), I woke up excited, thinking I could claim my chests. But alas, I saw that my chest reward was 0 and the timer became 15days because of the season reset. I also noticed that my league had dropped to novice. I tried to find all places to try and claim my chest but no! It's not there :( I played awhile and took a break and of course wrote my first blog on splintertalk.

Then came afternoon, whereby I entered the game and they told me I have chests ready to be claimed!!! Oh you guys don't know how happy I was when I saw my chests ready to be claimed. It was like omg omg omg yesss words just can't describe how excited I was :))

What might have caused my chests to disappear

I think it's the game glitch, there were too many players playing and/or waiting for their rewards that the huge surge in the system caused it to go haywire. While researching for my lost chests, I saw that many players were stuck in their page, also loading and not displaying anything. So I don't know whether to say I'm lucky or what but I'm just really grateful for my chests to be returned. It's a yay ending for me last season!

Erm I wanted to post today (1st Sep 2021), but I have to wait because of this soo guess I can only post on 2nd Sep 2021 but apparently these dragged on longer than expected because of other posts/comments and I ended up posting them today(15 Sep 2021).
