This is the 59th post since I entered the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands , here I draw for the character NOMOS from the Splinterlands NOMOS card game.
This week's work entry I'm happy because I'm back to Splinterlands fanart again, and this time I made the Nomos character feel evil and strong with muscles and sparks of energy like lightning coming out of his body.
Making this character was fun because I really like drawing men with muscles, it was very fun because I really like American superhero characters who are full of muscles.
This time I don't have a target because just taking part in the @splinterlands character drawing contest is already great in my opinion, and congratulations to the top 3 winners and other winners 🥰😘🕺👑👏💃🥳
And thank you also to my Hive community friends, curators and other artists who have always supported me in creating work all this time.
I made this work in 5.5 hours with 1.5 hours of line art and 4 hours of coloring and effects.

But why do I feel that if I look at other people's work, for example your work, I will definitely see that my work is worse. Do you feel the same way, friend?
Ah that happens to me as well bro. To counter that I made some changes lately. I try to make the face proportions of my characters conventionally beautiful before colouring it. Second is I try to get cool pose references from Pinterest. Simple front view poses are not that great when it comes to perspective poses. Third is I always choose references with good lighting. Normal lighting is boring sometimes so I prefer good lighting instead.
People are more attracted to beauty. It's biology, us humans can't help it haha. If I compare my work with some pros online I feel like I should just stop painting haha. I'm sure artists like wlop, samdoes art and lotusbubble are unknowingly creating insecurities in budding artists myself included 😂.
Ha.ha.ha. turns out it's the same, yeah😁 I think I just felt that.
Yes, maybe in the future I will make more handsome or beautiful characters ha.ha.
Yes, I also prefer Pinterest but maybe superhero poses are just what I'm looking for😂.
Maybe if we ask them they can also have concerns like us friends.
Yes they do haha. Sam already said in one his videos that he came to peace that he can't seem to fully like what he draws so we are not alone at all.
If you want superhero poses just look for movie posters of Marvel and DC characters. They usually have a great collection. Also Google "pose archives" they have a huge free collection as well. They are more exclusive on deviant art though.

Thank you my brother, yes it seems that Nomos is also strong with that weapon, even though I don't know the name of the weapon. And Nomos is also muscular but not stocky, so I think his movements will be quite agile, both attacking and dodging attacks.
I started digital art with bad drawings which you can see in my early posts, but over time with practice now it has improved a bit, your drawings are already good just need more practice my brother☺.

ha..ha...ha don't worry, if you are a Windows user you can use Clip Studio Paint or Photoshop, if you use an Ipad you can use Procreate and if you use Android you can use Ibis Paint X or Medibang Paint, my brother☺
