Aug. 15, 20: AutomaticWin, Discord, Math, Splinterlands Season Ends, and Games

Wow! Slept until seven today with a full nine hours! 😴🏆 Still feeling a bit worn out, but at least I caught up some.

Busted the usual morning routine very routinely with not a lot to note. Hive finally broke its $.25 peg and has been moving to the upside, nice to see. BLURT still languishing at 105 sats. 🤬

Headed out for a solid walk and another #AutomaticWin! 💪 Got a streak started. 😁

Not a bad start to the day, at least not as cold as it has been.

Kinda’ cloudy as we got started, but it cleared up right away.

We headed down along the nature trail again. Didn’t take as many pics as usual, since most of the bugs I saw I’ve already gotten shots of. Still, got a few.

The hairy scary caterpillar we saw the other day was right in the same place! He’s been munching the hell out of that one plant for days!

This butterfly’s wing was clearly damaged and we thought it was toast, but after we got our pictures it took off and flew away, no problems. 😀

In the afternoon I putzed around the house a bit, spent some time tending to the garden and doing some more weeding, and then headed over to MSP Waves for crimsonclad’s show. She was having an emotional day...tired and cranky, I guess. TBH it made me wicked uncomfortable, but hey, we’re all human.

Later on I started working on examining the next set of solutions to my algorithm (mod 385)...I’m a bit apprehensive, though, already a lot of stuff crammed into that picture, so it already looks somewhat jumbled; not sure if I’m going to be able to see what’s going on. Plus, I need to do it six times over! I should quit whining and be happy that I have something to work on. 🤓

We watched basically all of I’m Sorry on TV. It was really funny...lots of edgy sex comedy and social issues but addressed jokingly and not preachy.

Wenche made eggs and bacon for dinner, I played my Splinterlands quest, and boom 🤯 another day passed.

No crime today in my dCity. 🤩 Looks like the taxes have temporarily lightened, so hopefully get a little more SIM coming in. Super close to getting my next card...considered another Police Station, but I’m uncertain of their efficacy versus the expense.

I also voted @ecoinstant for President. Hopefully he’ll be a little less tyrannical and no war...you should vote too if you play!

Got all my Holybread tasks done again for the day. Starting to get rebuilt after repairing all my items. Close to being able to afford the next batch of potions, but I still have a few days, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Today was the end of the Splinterlands season. I finished in Champion II again and didn’t push up any farther than last time...seems I’ve got a wall.

I really wish they’d do away with GD potions as rewards...I have fifty of each now, whoopie! Out of 120 chests, two epics were the best cards?!?! I did get one nice DEC reward and an Untamed pack, the rest makes me question why I bother:

My quest for today was Death splinter. I started off with a loss, but then recovered alright and made some progress.

Got the quest done in Diamond II with a potion. Why do I play again? Well, I did get a couple nice cards and another Untamed pack, so I guess it wasn’t too bad:
