Aug. 20, 20: AutomaticWin, Zombierun, Discord, Xbox, and Games

Slept all the way until seven thirty today with a whopping nine and a half hours of sleep!!! Told you I was running short.

Got on with the usual morning routine and was surprised to find that HIVE had pumped like 30%! I guess we got listed on a big Asian exchange, I dunno 🤷‍♂️ but it seems like it was just a matter of buy quick, wait for FOMO, sell out, make $$$.

We basically instantly lost all of the gains we made. I feel so used. 😢

My ActiFit exchange was due up today, and I got a late start, but I ran pretty hard for most of the time and kept the pace at nearly double what it usually is (well, walking)! Took some doing, but I did achieve the #AutomaticWin! 🏆💪

Wasn’t too warm to start out, but running in the sunshine I had a solid sweat going.

Only a couple of puffy white clouds on the horizon, otherwise blue skies! 🤩😄🤗

Mr. Chubbles was getting some breakfast and paused for a minute to get his picture taken. 😁

The zombie mission today was a pretty ordinary supply run to an abandoned gas station. Pauline told a story about how she got her massive scar in Africa as a parallel to what we were doing (the zombies were the rebels, etc.). It was fairly entertaining and it turned out that the gas station was a weapons cache for a local group of bandits! We got some guns and hauled out of there...meanwhile, on a side story, Sam (the radio operator) had to come to terms with Pauline dying of the virus. In the end, he agreed to kill her when she changes. 😧

Four for four zombies evaded with one fifty meter warning despite having to sprint at top speed!!! Oh, and mission complete. 😎

I always feel that doing these posts the day after they occur is a good, meditative exercise to reflect on one’s self and life and accomplishments and failures...and then there’s days like today when I ask myself “what did I do yesterday?” and I come up pretty much empty. 😭

I posted, I suppose that’s something, and messed around on Discord, but PostUp was canceled for today and so Solairitas didn’t get any extra votes or publicity. 😩

I played a little bit of Bolt on the Xbox, popped a couple cheevos and beat the final boss.

Other than that, not really a whole heck of a lot going on. Wenche worked late, so I had some cereal for dinner, played some Splinterlands quest, and fell asleep watching the first season of Lucifer (the new season comes out this weekend).

Farking A! My bank got robbed today. 😭 That’s the thanks I get for spending all my SIM on another Weed Farm, eh? Anyway, I did get 6 SIM, a little BEER, and even more WEED! 😁

As if getting robbed in my dCity wasn’t enough, today was the first time in a long time that I just couldn’t finish my Holybread tasks. I did get a couple wins, but I just couldn’t land the third one in time. 🥺

Still holding in the top ten, though, at least for the moment...

I got Dragon splinter again for my Splinterlands quest today! 🤩 It was somewhat rougher today, basically one win one loss, rinse and repeat.

Got the quest done still in Champion III with a potion. OK rewards today. Got a few cards and a moderate amount of DEC:

I use that Nectar Queen pretty often; I mean, it’s a seriously badass card, and I figure there’s only so many, so I spent quite a bit of DEC on getting it up to level 7.

Hooray! Fitbit fixed the trophy issue. No problem, it gave me credit for the past couple days as well. 😃
