Aug. 30, 20: AutomaticWin, Grocery Shopping, DoubleDay, SM Season End, and Games

Today is the start of the Fall semester, and of course everything is going wrong and I’m having to recreate everything from scratch. I’m super stressed and super busy, so I’m just posting the basic structure of a post with the intention to edit later.

Up at seven today and good enough to count as a full night. Got my morning routine done pretty quick and then I waited for Wenche to get up.

Cryptos starting to recover a little, but not a lot of volume yet. Eth and DeFi seem to be where it’s at. I don’t understand how these people are able to afford doing all this stuff on Ethereum...must have bags to throw away on transaction fees.

BLURT still languishing...only 79 sats now, so I’m just waiting.

We were a bit late getting started, but we still ended up having enough time to score the #AutomaticWin! 👍💪

It was Sunday and we usually head out to the woods when it’s possible, but since we were late, we stayed here in town.

Went and picked up Lady and headed out.

Friggin’ freezing today! I had a jacket and a hat on!

Not a whole lot of bugs out today, but I did get this twofer! 😁

Little ladybug still snuggled up for bed.

Did a swing by the pond. Saw a couple of turtles 🐢 including a little teeny one. 🤗

We got some hardcore rain the other day, but the corn still looks seriously dried out. 😳

Got the whole fam out for the day.

After we got back I did my post and then we headed into town to do the weekly grocery shopping. Not much going on there, but got a new coffee maker since the old one decided to start turning on and off randomly.

I tried to get some preparation done for my classes starting tomorrow, and I did get some done, but most of it wasn’t working and WebAssign booted me out and wouldn’t let me log back in. 😡

I played my Splinterlands quest and then fell asleep watching Lucifer.

No crime in my dCity today. 🥳 I did check out the market to see what’s available for sale, but I didn’t find anything I wanted or could afford yet. Got my income for the day, though. 🤑

It’s getting nearly impossible now, but I did get all my Holybread tasks done.

Definitely falling in the ranks now...wonder if I’ll get knocked out of the top twenty? For now, still holding.

I got Death splinter for my Splinterlands quest today. It was the last day of the season and I REALLY didn’t want to play, but I would have missed the daily rewards, and I really wanted to reset from Champion I.

I had the quest nearly done and only needed one win to complete the quest in Champion I and leave it for the season, but of course I got completely screwed. 😡🤬

Ended my misery back in Champion II with a potion. Here’s my rewards for the day, not too bad with an Untamed pack and a gold foil:

The season ended today and for the first time I got all 150 chests! 😁 Not too bad either, got some more cards and four Untamed packs. Unfortunately one of the photos glitched our the phone, but it had a Life summoner:
