Mar. 23, 22: Routine, PIMP Meeting, Teaching, TV, and Games

[Not only did I get to bed late last night (like ten), around two or so the cat started and the wife was snoring, so I’m currently running nearly four hours short on sleep. 🤬😡😢😭 Honestly, despite already drinking my pot of coffee and having been up for more than five hours, my eyes are swimming trying to work on this post and all I want is to go back to sleep. The wife just left for work, so once this post is decent I’m going to schedule it and try to go back to bed…crap, I have errands to run as well, going to have to slog through some more of the day first…]

We both went to bed pretty early last night, a little before eight actually, and I slept all the way through until five thirty for three quarters of an hour over my eight hour goal! 😮🥳 Between a super solid night’s sleep and a Red Bull, I definitely felt a lot more energetic today! 👍😁

Still pretty boring as far as the crypto markets and the morning routine. Mostly just the same ol’ every day stuff…cryptos up slightly, just enough to mean I’m losing even more now against ETH! 🤬 My Polygon investment just seems to get worse and worse while I’m missing out on mich better interest rates even just parking in HP. 😡🤬

No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get the center tag to work properly with these results…tried removing spaces and return characters and every combination, but it won’t recognize the close center tag and everything is center for the rest of the post, so I’ve just had to ditch them. 🤬

Got my post done and all that and started getting ready for work. Got all my stuff together in the car, made my lunch, got a shower, and headed out.

We had our weekly PIMP meeting today and I listened in on the drive to work. Still growing and going strong and it sounds like the next major development is likely to be a HIVE:PIMP diesel pool! 💪

It’s frustrating not to be able to actively participate (and I can’t help but from time to time), but it’s dangerous messing with the phone on the highway. Speaking of which, having to sit there at have my post open and ready and wait for the time to click over so I can post without the goddamn brofund bot skipping me is frustrating and dangerous as well; it’s not like I didn’t pay thousands of dollars for it. 🤬

Anyway, otherwise no troubles with the drive in and I just sat out in the hall for a while rather than even trying to go to my class. Even so, with only two minutes to go, bitch still hadn’t dismissed her class. 🤬 Hate to be a Karen, but thinking about saying something about it to the department chair; if anything it’s gotten worse.

Today was a relatively easy class inasmuch as we didn’t cover any new material, just reviewed for the exam coming up over the weekend. We got out a little bit early and I headed to the parking lot for lunch. Watched some YouTube, staked my SPS, and then headed back in for Calculus.

We were reviewing for the exam in Calculus as well, so fairly easy, but I did make a mistake and got stuck on one problem (I turned the cone upside down) [and that was what kept me awake when I woke up in the middle of the night]. We did another, similar one, though, that went fine. We did end up taking the full class today and then I stayed after for a while to help students with individual questions, so I was relatively let getting home.

Wenche was already back from work and had started making turkey tacos for dinner 😋 and we watched a special that was supposed to be a comedy special but ended up just being a documentary about the comedian. 😢 Seems like she put something else on…oh a Sandra Bullock cop movie that was pretty funny and I played my Splinterlands quest. Actually made it through the whole movie, though, and it was quite late by the time I went to sleep.

Do my eyes deceive me? Did I really get a whopper of a double digit dShitty income today?!?! That’s been ages!! It’s uncharacteristic for it to become any less shitty than before, so I’m assuming this is a temporary blip.

I am kind of surprised/disappointed that, with the number of times I’ve typed “dShitty” at this point, predictive text still gives me no help (hasn’t learned). 🤔

Did a couple missions on Rising Star today and, like the last umpteen days, that was it. I looked again at the Starbits pool and at 30-ish percent and having to match with PIZZA, doesn’t really seem to be worth it; although, I suppose that’s more than the zero percent it’s earning sitting there in game.

No major moves on HashKings today either. It’s aggravating that I can’t do the Raid on mobile (have to use the computer), so I didn’t get a chance to get any more income today. 😢 Otherwise just waiting out the clock.

It seems that it often gets late on teaching days before I start to think about playing Splinterlands, but I got at it relatively early today, so the reset time is still good. 👍 Took me a little while, but not too bad today.

I got Life splinter for my quest and I wasn’t having it, so switched up and got Earth instead. Made some progress in the ranks and finished in Gold I (looking on pace for at least Diamond this season - no jinx). Not really into the Conjurer, but two gold foils ain’t too shabby!

Staked my SPS drop for the day and once again made no moves as far as vouchers are concerned. Seems like I forgot to mention that I didn’t get squat in the last card airdrop. 😢
