Lava launcher

I don't get it
Why is this card so undervalued. To me it seems like a really great addition for the fire splinter because fire lacks heavy range hitters.
I understand the power gained by the new reward cards are lower but 3 dollar for a card like this seems to me like an amazing buy. I already bought a few for my deck.

Can anyone please explain why it's so cheap? Am I missing something? Was it wrong to buy a few for that price
