Battle Weekly Challenge - Dragons

avatar

Hello folks, this is my first post Good morning/ Good afternoon/ Good night!

Today, I'm here to show you how to train your dragon…. Oops… I mean, how to play dragon!

Hope you like it!!

Combat Idea

(28 mana)

Before starting the battle, I noticed that my opponent was in a fire-element streak.

So, the principle of my idea was to get a large amount of armor to withstand his attacks.

So I chose DRAKE OF ARNAK to get +1 Armor.

👉 In my view, there are three cards that were the most important for this composition.

The first one is DJINN CHWALA, I used her as a kind of tank because she
has plenty of health and armor, plus she has the Thorns ability, which is the key to winning this battle.

The choice of NAGA ASSASSIN was because of the great possibility that she has to dodge a direct attack, and to fight with her, I chose SNIPING NARWHAL, I think these two together are a great choice.

The second essential card was VENARI WAVESMITH, giving +2 Armor makes DJINN CHWA 8 Armor!!

And the third most important card was CRUSTACEAN KING, its function in this composition aimed to let DJINN CHWAL live longer on the battlefield and thus causing more damage to the opponent.

Finally, I opted for ALBATROSS, I confess that I only had 1 mana, so I had to take it. Besides, he has the possibility to dodge an attack, so it's not that bad!

Questions

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

The strategy did work, but I'm still new to the game and right now I don't know how I can improve this strategy, but in the near future with more experience I'll be able to find a better composition for this strategy!

Do you like DRAGONS? Why or why not?

Yes, I like them because they convey confidence and power!

This is the official battle challenge post for Splinterlands Weekly Battle Share Challenge. If you like the challenge and want to participate, make a post and share it with more people.

Did you find it interesting, and you still don't play Splinterlands?

Hello, @delci! This is @jcrodriguez from @OCD team.

We saw that you already posted your first post here in Hive! Congratulations and welcome!

I also play splinterlands. Welcome to the best platform and the best game on this blockchain. Maybe we will cross paths in a tournament or clan battle. It is your first post. It is important that you make an introduction to the community, is my suggestion.

As a sample of what an intro post is, you can refer to this intro post for reference:

Keeping Up With the Buzz - My Introduction to the Hive Community

There's no specific format on how you do your intro post, but there is some suggested content that we would love to see in your post. Information like who are you and where you're from, how did you discover Hive or who invited you, what types of content you want to see here and the types that you want to produce, and what are your expectations in this platform. There's no pressure on this. You can choose whatever information you would like to share.

You can explore the communities that you may like in this post: OCD Communities Incubation Program. There is a wide variety of topics, you are sure to find the right communities for your content.

You may encounter RC (Resource Credits) issues when trying to comment/post because you don't have enough Hive Power in your account yet. You can fix this with a one week temporary delegation through the Gift Giver Site. Another solution is for the person who recommended Hive to delegate some Hive Power to you.

If you are looking for tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: newbie guide. They are easy to understand and useful for learning how the platform ecosystem works.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.

If you have questions or concerns, you can hop into OCD's Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions.

Lovesniper will follow you, we hope to see your presentation post soon!
