Card Types
Summoners:
- Definition: Magic users who master one of the six primordial forces and use this power to summon Units.
- Function: Summon Units for battle.
Units:
- Definition: People or creatures summoned by Summoners.
- Function: Conduct combat.
Both types of cards can be found in Splinterlands Booster Packs.

Elements
There are six sources of magic in Splinterlands:
- Fire
- Water
- Earth
- Life
- Death
- Dragon
- Function: Each force is defended by factions known as Elements.
- Example: An Earth Element Summoner can summon Units that inhabit mountains and forests.

Card Basics
Structure of a Fire Element Monster Card:
- Mana Cost: Indicates the card's power and its influence on team building.
- STATS: Reflects the character's physical power, speed, stamina, and health.
- Element/Rarity: The icon represents the Element, and the color indicates the rarity (Common, Rare, Epic, or Legendary).
- Name: The character's name.
- Level: Indicates the card's power; higher levels improve stats or unlock skills.
- Experience: Gained by combining duplicate cards; a green bar shows progress toward the next level.
- Abilities: Special abilities used during combat.


Statistics (STATS)
- Description: Character's main attributes.
- Statistics Check: In the Collection, select the "STATS" tab to see the upgrades and skill unlocks at each level.
Attack Types:
- There are three attack modes, detailed later in the game.


Abilities
- Importance: They contribute uniquely to the outcome of the battle and are essential to formulating winning strategies.
- Specialization: Some elements may have exclusive access to certain abilities.












The Battlefield
- Structure: Two rows and six positions.
- Importance: The strength of forces depends on effective utilization of positions and the opponent's anticipation.
- Vacancies: When a Unit dies, the units behind it move forward to fill the empty space.
- Adjacency: Adjacent positions affect abilities and movements on the field.

Battle Preparation
- Summoner Selection:
- Team Building Screen: Displays all Summoners in the Collection.
- Summoner Level: Determines the level of Units that can be added to the team.
- Unit Selection:
- Availability: Units of the Summoner's element and Neutral Units can be selected.
- Mana Cost: Monitor the Mana counter to not exceed the limit.
- Positioning: Consider attack types and the organization of Units in the front and back row


Combat
- Battlefield Structure: Divided into two halves, with your team on one side and the enemy on the other.
- Turn-Taking: Units with the highest speed attack first. If speeds are equal, attack type decides the order: first magic, then ranged, and finally melee.
- Strategy: Learn from each battle to improve Unit combinations and positioning in future battles.
