Years after the Chaos invasion and the rise of an oppressive Empire, whispers of rebellion echo throughout Praetoria. The Defiant secretly gather, with "VONAK" being their rallying cry.
The Rebellion is the fifth major set in the Splinterlands ecosystem, featuring 96 new cards with stunning art, engaging lore, and deep strategic elements. It introduces five new abilities and Dual-Element Summoners, allowing for enhanced strategic gameplay. Players can also engage in the Tactics stage of battle with Ability-Choice Summoners.
Additionally, players can participate in the Rebellion War via Conflicts mode, deploying Rebellion cards in monthly battles for a chance to win legendary prizes.
The Rebellion pack in Splinterlands has 3,487,388 packs remaining, each priced at 5,000 DEC/Credits. Every pack is guaranteed to contain at least one rare or better card. Players can purchase bonus packs at discounted rates using vouchers, with promo tiers such as Arena Kit (100 packs), Mage Cache (500 packs), and Power Trove (2,000 packs). The interface allows players to apply discount vouchers and calculate the number of bonus packs received. Payment can be made using DEC and vouchers, which can be managed in-game.
Participate in monthly War Efforts in Splinterlands to support the Rebellion by using Rebellion cards to aid troops in the field. By participating, players can win exclusive Airdrop Rewards for each monthly War Effort.
In the conflict titled "A Beautiful Death," the once-great Lagfael has fallen, and Barashkukor, along with his Chaos legions, now rules the Belurocian Empire. The greater demon Avarisdeus enforces a dark sovereignty over the Dark Eternals. Demise Archon Faust, a former ruler, is in exile in Fenmoor's Bog of Wails. Players must find Faust, restore him to his throne, and ignite the spark of rebellion..
The Rebellion card set in Splinterlands introduces new tactics that add a deeper level of strategic gameplay.
Key Features:
- Dual Element Summoners: These summoners allow access to twice the number of cards by blending two different elements, enabling complex strategies.
- Ability Choice: After both teams are revealed on the battlefield, players can choose which summoner ability to apply, either to buff their team or debuff the enemy.
- Target Options: Players can choose to buff their tank, sneak unit, or the entire team, adding flexibility and urgency to in-game decisions.
The Rebellion set in Splinterlands introduces five game-changing abilities that significantly enhance gameplay strategy, allowing players to build formidable defenses or deliver devastating attacks. These abilities are set to revolutionize arena battles, with even more abilities being introduced through Airdropped Rewards from Rebellion Conflicts, promising epic battles ahead.
New Abilities:
Armored Strike: Units with this ability gain an additional melee attack using their Armor stat, enabling them to use their gauntlets, shields, helmets, or physical attributes as weapons.
Corrosive Ward: When hit by a melee attack, a unit with this ability deals 2 damage to the attacker's armor and reduces the attacker's maximum armor by 2, countering the Repair ability.
Flank: If the unit with this ability is in the first position, the unit in the second position gains the Reach ability, allowing for coordinated attacks to take down the enemy tank.
Look Out: Units with this ability cause adjacent allies to take one less damage from attackers with Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity, providing early warning and protection against stealth attacks.

The war for freedom in Praetoria will intensify with the release of the Rebellion set in Splinterlands. Monthly War Efforts will allow Battle Mages to use Rebellion cards to support troops and earn exclusive rewards.
Key Features:
Big Battles, Big Rewards: Battle Mages can now actively participate in the war by using mobile wagons, outfitted with summoning stations by the Riftwatchers and the League of Verico. These wagons enable Battle Mages to deploy summoned manifestations to support the war effort.
Monthly War Efforts: Each month will feature a new battle location. The more you contribute, the higher your chances of receiving Airdrop cards for that month. Contributions are based on the rarity, levels, and foil types of Rebellion cards.
Exclusive Rewards: At the end of each monthly battle, collect your Airdrop cards and prepare for the next conflict. Only Rebellion cards can be used in these War Efforts.
The Age of the War Mage has begun, offering Battle Mages a pivotal role in the fight for Praetoria’s freedom.
The Chaos Empire maintains a tyrannical grip on the Splinterlands, but hope remains. From Wilhemdale to Miterstedt, courageous individuals are rising to reclaim their land. Battle Mages have fought in the arena under the oppressive gaze of subdued locals and mocking legionnaires, who often seize a portion of their rewards as a tax.
Rumors of rebellion are spreading: in New Dawn, the Knights of the Silver Shield are leading an insurgency; the city of Solace in the north is in open revolt; and in Mox City, the Empire is executing anyone who shows defiance.
As a Battle Mage, you must decide: Will you stand against the Empire to defend your home? Will you sacrifice your freedom to join the legions of Chaos and enforce tyranny? Or will you continue fighting in the arena, hoping the Empire spares you? The choice is yours.
