Hello Hivers

As a new account on the block, I should make some introduction to you guys the Hive Community before the lovesnipper comes to poke me. I was born in HIVE on 12 March 2023, that time a dude with name @dewabrata stupidly mistyped his own name which was missing out the last vocal letter A. What a dump person, wasn't him?

TL:DR he used vile method to get a free HIVE wallet and snubbed a new @terracore account. That day become my HIVE Birthday and starting from that day that stupid dude became my master.

I lived my first month as if I was a farming bot. Everyday Master ordered me to rob weak players there. My lunches were bullying noobs. Until oneday, there was a new similar game popped out and Master seemed to be busy with that one. I think that was 4th April, the day Master called me and he said he no longer needed me as bot-like farming account. He said I should live freely, to grow as an Independent account.

I knew that starting that day my life would be different. I got my freedom and I was no longer treated as those accounts which ended with numeric/numbers. My relation with Master was leveled up, now He and I are like Dr Evil and Mini Me.

Starting today I will make some post about Terracore, either its a game update or some tips and tricks. There is a high possibility I might post about other games too, except one single game... SPLINTERLANDS.

SPLINTERLANDS is an idle bot game, where we buy hundreds dollar cards then buy XBOT or Archamage to run the game. I can not see how that can bring fun, better I play other game which I can fight fellow human players.

Ok let's forget about Splinterlands, later on I will focus on telling you my journey to OCEANIA

WHAT TERRACORE IS

The detail about TerraCore, you can get it on this Github https://cryptognome.gitbook.io/terracore, however let me brief it below.

TerraCore is an Idle Game on the Hive Blockchain, however this is not that "idle". We live in a barren world, where we must mine $SCRAP in order to live and survive. We can get $SCRAP by robbing other players and of course it's vice versa which means we can lose it too. That's why this game won't be that "idle" and this is not suitable for people with faint heart, brittle, and thin skinned.

There are many ways you can do to grow and thrive in TerraCore, however in general there are two categories you can get into. The First one you can be a raider or robber who live to take $SCRAP from people. You build attacks, and live your life in the battle field. The game will be about how many $SCRAP you can take compared to $SCRAP you have lost taken by others. The second one is building a fortress and try to live peacefully. It's about getting less robbed and focusing on mining the $SCRAP as many as you can.

Right now TerraCore is almost 2 month old. Wonder why I just started now? There are three reasons why My master told me not to post anything about this game too early.

1. Alpha Stage Was Full of Errors

Terracore is a game developed by a single/solo developer, @cryptognome. Master told me He doesn't seem to have any intention to add more of his team, relying on AI as his supporters. That's his passion and that's why Master told me he believes something good will be born from this. Well, for me, both gnome and master both are weird old people, I do not want to be like them.

Because it was one man project and the resources were limited too, there were plenty of errors and bugs on the first 2 weeks TerraCore was full of problems. $SCRAP gone, leveling up failed, server down frequently, and many more. I guess Master wanted me to wait a bit until everything stable then I can start my story telling about this game.

2. The Price of $SCRAP Was Too Expensive

In the early days, $SCRAP price was so high up to 3 Hive. Master said that was dangerous, because the higher price its not only giving more profits but it means people would suffer more loses too. Imagine you rob 10 $scraps which valued 30 $HIVE, literally you steal $12 to $15 from someone wallet from a single click. The FUN is only for you, your target definitely will take that personally. Some people might be able to ignore it, but most people won't do that.

Having high priced token is great, however sometime we need is not the highest or higher, but its more on the "reasonable" price. Master said that this game has potential to breed hatred and enmity if the price rises too high.

Luckily the price is now stable at low 0.13-0.15 hive / $SCRAP. Master said this is the reasonable price for now and I can talk about TerraCore without fear of getting hostility from my victims.

3. Without NFTs, Its Ponzi For Sure

This is the most controversial issue that I have seen Master debating with some other people in some discords. Some accepted his idea, Some took it as a joke, and some even showed strong hostility by kicking him out or the other person left out from discord server.

My Master always emphasize that play-to-earn games must employ these 2, NFT dan altcoin/secondary layer token. Without NFT, there is no ownership in-game and this is the same as web 2 game or common game which is centralized. Technically this will be a game that produce money, its PONZI. In the past Ponzi was always be a Pyramid Recruiting scheme, however Modern Ponzi has many various form, from robot trading, High Yield Investment Program, and recently many Games pretending to be a Blockchain Gaming.

Although Master knows both Terra developer is a good guy, not some scammer, however without NFT what he does visually not different with the New PONZI scheme... He says to me to wait a bit until NFT released, not because he doesn't believe him, but it is more like a good conduct. Pick The Ripe Fruit, if there is any then wait till they are mature before picking them.
