Another week another splinterlands post, and of course I would like to welcome you all to to my weekly Splinterlands Post. My post here is about BATTLE MAGE SECRETS event and today BATTLE MAGE SECRETS is about Broken Arrow rulesets. My health is still deteriorating so I will try to make this post short and simple but fun. It's kind of nuts and pointless if you are making post while you are having a dizzy head and blurry eyes, unless its fun!!

Broken Arrow is a ruleset that forbid all range monsters participation. So there are only Melee and Magic monsters here. Usully most people will go with Magic for sure, because Melee has some limitation compared to magic attacks in term of aiming backline targets.

However there are some monsters who can do double attack, Melee and Magic together. One of them is Quora Towershead, one of the strongest one in this game. In this opportunity I would like to have her as my opponents, not using her in my team. That would be interesting, wouldn't it? Let's check the battle guys!!

THE BATTLE

This was a Silver League Wild Format Rank Battle, however none of us here used an Wild format cards. My opponents came with Quora Towershead as their core strength, and they had Unicorn Mustang as their Anti Magic Tank. They had Queen Mycelia too, those all were a great combination actually, let see how things would go.

ROUND 1

• The battle started with both of us Buffing up our team and debuffing our opponents.
• My opponent came with 6 Melee Damage, and 2 magic damage. Those all were 8 effective Damage
• My team had 8 Melee damage and 2 magic damage. Combined all became 10 damage per round.
• This gonna be a very interesting battle. They had the wild card, QUORA TOWERSHEAD, meanwhile I had hidden secret weapon, the double striker puppet.

ROUND 2

• Round 2 started with my team winning the first round. its 6 vs 4 now, their Unicorn Mustang died first.

• Their Quora Towershead got powered up after killing my Cursed Windeku. However this was their starting downfall.

ROUND 3

• 5 of my team members moved together, combining their attacks and killed Quora Towershead in one go.
• Round 3 started with things looked ugly on their side.

ROUND 4

• This was the last round. Good Game

CLOSURE AND DISCUSSION

Quora Towershead lost badly in this battle, its so sad even I felt bad for their side for losing like this. These are the points we could learn from this battle:

1. No Arrow = Prepare To Anticipate Magic

It's not wise to use magic only team in ruleset, because everyone already anticipating magic opponents. In this battle, my team brought Thaddius Brood the summoner who could weaken all opponent magics, and their team used Unicorn Mustang the anti magic tank.

2. Melee Proved As Better Solution

Possessed Puppet is not the strongest Melee Attacker, however in this battle he is the STAR. he outperforms Quora Towershead. Well, Melee Mayhem ruleset helped him for sure, however in general we can say that using melee during broken arrow is less-likely anticipated than magic team.

3. Similar Speed Teammates Can Make a Coordinated Combo Attack

The reason why their Quora Towershead became useless was because she died in one go. I had 5 monsters with similar speed and they moved all together not letting Quora to have any chance to heal herself. This is one of the advantages having a team with similar speed, or you can say that having one super speed monster sometime can backfire at yourself. it depends on how you look at the case.
