BATTLE MAGE SECRETS: HIT HARD IF YOU DON'T HAVE MYLOR DURING UP TO ELEVEN

Hello Hivians and Hivers,
Welcome to back to my weekly Splinterlands BATTLE MAGE SECRETS challenge. This is my second post for Up to Eleven Ruleset as our theme this week. As people like to say here, another week another splinterlands post, this week we have a new theme. As usual I won't talk more about the ruleset because it's already been done in the first one.
In this second opportunity, I would like to talk about specific combination of Up To Eleven that I really hate... which is:

Yes this it is... Up To Eleven + Up Close and Personal = MYLOR FORTE... so if you don't bring Mylor, you definitely will get REKT. and I do not have Mylor

However the good news is, after the land released, many cards are gone from the market. That means we can't get cheap Mylor and so do our opponents. So please don't give up or surrender too quickly, try to fight back with your hardest punch!
Ok let's check out battle now...
THE BATTLE
This was a battle we could laugh at, both of us did not have Mylor. However we managed to bring 6 melee units in our team.
My team had two approaches, the first one is having 2 armor backline units to withstands opponent sneak melee attackers. On offensive part, I relied on Silvershield Knight. He was my favorite, so yes... this is a silver league Wild Format.
My opponent morelikely had similar approach. He used two backline wall, Radiated Scorcher and Xenith Monk.
So this was how the battle went:

- The battle started with both of us buffing up our team and debuffing our opponents. I used Lorna who guarded all my units with her Divine Shield, and my opponent had that +1 melee from Tarsa.
- My opponent came with 9 melee damage per round.
- My team had 11 melee damage per round.
- I had more firepower but they had better defense system. Let say they focused more on defense rather than offense.

- Round 2 started with 5 vs 6 condition, my Dumacke Exile killed their Scorcher in the first round. Meanwhile they had not done anything worthy yet.

- Round 3 started with 4 vs 6 condition, again my Dumacke Exile made another kill. This time Xenith Monk was the victim.

- Round 4 started with 2 vs 5 condition. My dumacke killed Tenyii Striker however later their Uraeus killed him. RIP Dumacke Exile, you were still the MVP here with 3 kills

- Round 5 started with 2 vs 5 conditions, It's not easy to kill Antoid Platoon and Disintegrator because of that demoralize from Disintegrator.

- However round 5 was the last round here. My Stitch Leech closed the battle with killing the Antoid Platoon. Good Game

CLOSURE AND DISCUSSION
There are some good points we can take from this battle, especially because this is a Wild Format battle.
- My team was better because they were built up by various edition. I had Lorna from Dice, Silvershield Knight from Beta, Dumacke Exile from Riftwathers and the rest are Chaos Legion. Their side only consisted of Chaos Legion and Uraeus the reward card. The more complex of your blend, it would give a more unpredictable and hard to anticipate, even both of us used similar meta.
- Meat Wall is not as good as before. In the past using meat wall was a brilliant approach, however nowadays using that will give you two big risks... first you have more idle units, second you are feeding the bloodlust opponents.
- Don't use too many idle units. My Opponent had two, Scorchers and Disintegrator. This made they lost momentum, letting me hit more and killed first.
- Against Mylor, my opponent had better meta however still it would not be enough to beat any Mylor Team. If you could not anticipate a certain meta, change your meta and hope your opponent would bring something else than you hate most. Else, when a surprise happens, you can not take any benefit from it.
- If you are having no clue at all, just bring a line up which hit harder 🤣
ok that's for today, Have fun with Up to Eleven ruleset. And please and don't forget to leave your comment or feedback below. thank you.
