Commoners Combo: Staking Inspire As A Driving Force

Hello Everyone
It's been a while since my last post about community engagement challenge in Splinterlands. I usually make a post about my journey, my brawls, account grinding and any other experience I get while playing this great game.
I am a casual player, I do not like spending big or excessively in any game, well it is ok if the spending is reasonable but most of the time people get over spent due to chasing a strong card, which mostly a legendary rarity cards.
So my cards are dominated with commons and rares, which are cheap but very useful. We even have a ruleset, RISE OF COMMONS, which we are only allowed to play with these cards. However I find some fun and satisfaction while playing with them, and I believe with certain meta they can beat up opponents who have more expensive and stronger cards.
So today, my contribution for Splinterlands community will be sharing a simple meta, which is staking some ability and in this case I pick Inspire. I often use this meta when I can not figure out how to overpower my opponents who are mostlikely having better cards

A few moments ago, I just finished a tournament and I see a battle that is interesting for me. It was a tournament that we could use all the cards that were exist, and somehow I believed in my Rare-Commons line up and my opponent as a typical players who believe more in Legendary units
So I hope this battle will be a good example that my common-rare line up with this simple combo: staking inspire could overpower a lot more stronger opponents.
HIGHLIGHTED BATTLE
That battle was taken from a ghost card tournament held by Ehmaywuntee and BunsBagsandCaps. They hold this great tournament weekly, not for the prize, but it just a fun one. The only complains I have about this tournament is that their big logo of WTF chicken in the middle, it is so cheesy and disrupt the cards display lol.
Because of silenced summoners, both of us use the dragon summoner, Prince Julian 2 mana cards. In the past, this was the most expensive summoner, because it was very strong during silenced summoner ruleset. However during those days, most of the battles had less than 40 mana cap. So yeah, things have changed a lot
In this battle we can see that my opponent used all legendary units, no epic or less. Meanwhile I was using no epics nor legendaries, so our line up is very contrary there, opposite from each other.
My meta is simple, I am relying on a combo of two inspire ability units. These two will add a combined +2 melee damage to all my melee units. I choose this combo because I believe in lower mana cap, let say below 40 and like this battle 34 mana cap, commons and rares are more easily arranged than a bunch of legendaries.
Let's see how this battle goes

- The battle starts with both side buffing their team and debuffing their opponent. Honestly that big WTF Chicken image in the middle is very disturbing lol
- They come with 3 melee damage, 4 range damage and 8 magic damage. Combined all they become 15 damage per round.
- My team comes with 27 melee damage, and 3 magic damage, combined all it becomes 30 damage per round.
- This is not a joke, my team has 30 damage per round, and it can be 35 damage per round because Silvershied Assassin has a double strike there. This is the power of Staking Inspire ability, this meta makes my team hit twice harder than my opponent.

- Despite my 30 damage per round, my team still could not kill anyone in the first round. Agor Longtail was indeed super powerful, we could not take him down.
- I lost my Janni Rebel in second round, and that made my double inspire ability broke off.

- Things looked bad at the beginning of round 3, I lost my combo and they still had two of their main tanks there.
- However Agor Longtail died in this round, and things started to change drasctically.

- Iziar was a great tank, however my Chaos Knight had a giant killer ability there, so it's a simple wipe off against him.
- Now Round 4 started to look differently, my team was the leading right now.

- round 5 was the last one, It was an intense battle but once Agor Longtail got killed, it's all one sided domination from my team.
So what do you think about my meta, do you think it is a flop or just a lucky shoot? I often use double inspire as an element of surprise that my opponent would not expect this meta. People are more anticipated with magic or range attacks.
Although it seems cool, I know there are many weakness for this meta. If my opponent use a summoner that has Thorn as their ability, it will be an automatically lost for me. However things are not like that in this battle, it has a silenced summoner ruleset. OR during a battle with deflect ability as the ruleset or maybe using a certain summoner that has a defect ability, thorn would not be an issue anymore.
Ok that's my combo for this opportunity. feel free to leave your feedback below, and Thank you for your visit here. See you in Splinterlands Battles!!!
