Having The Fun Over The Rewards

Hello Fellow Summoners

We had Splinterlands yesterday. I did not get any time to log in yesterday so today is my first day of the new season. It is one day late and as I have predicted before... I could not get most of my frequent used cards from the rental market.

I know what this mean, this season will be a hard one. So rather than thinking about how bad my performance will be or how bad the rewards I will get later, I am trying to see this situation from different angle. I prefer to see that I will still be able to have some fun from Splinterlands, regardless the rewards will be.

Anyway I do not pretend to be wise here. I am a casual player so getting the max result is not my priority, however it doesn't mean I am happy with the bad result nor bad rewards. I am being realistic here, because I am still busy with Real World activities, I know well I would not be able to perform greatly this season, the same as the last one.

So I have accepted my condition and I know if I still get time to play Splinterlands, having fun should be my first goal. How about you my friends? same like me or you want to beat the leaderboard? Whatever your goals are, I hope you get them!

LAST SEASON OUTCOME

I have said I did not have enough time last season and I would not have it again this season, so here was the End Of Season result from the last one.

I did not play survivor mode at all. I really did not have the time to finish atleast 5 wins in any days. I even could not finish my survival mode, regarding I only had 74 battles. We need at least 100 battles to be eligible for any rewards from the survival mode.

My rank battles were not great. I only had 48.41% Winrate, this showed that my season was bad. I used to have some numbers between 50% to 51%, I admit I am not a great player who can maintain above 52% winning rate. You need a great selection to win at that level, and it's not about having great cards in your selection, but you have to be great player too. Both of them, the cards and the players, are depended variable. You could not be great by having or being one of those two. Must have both!

I do not wish to be a total negative person here, despite those bad things, I am still happy I could get 130.331 GLINT as my reward. I could buy a complete batch of Common draws or Rare draws this time, and those new cards will make me happy for sure.

So not everything is bad right?

My seasonal SPS rewards is not hat bad too. I have got 1.457 SPS from my modern rank battles and Brawls rewards. This is not a great number but I believe it is still higher than majority of Splinterlands players. I should not be disappointed with this reward, eventhough my seasonal target is at 2.000 SPS per season.

So how about this season? Again, I will say I know I will be busy and I will perform under my average. I expect to see this season as another season with less than 50% winrate. I only wish my GLINT reward will be still above 100.000 GLINT and my SPS reward will stay above 1.200 SPS. I could not get good cards from the rental market, and my playing time is limited... those outcome are something that I could expect and I will be happy about and of course... Having a good time playing Splinterlands!

I really admire your determination, even though you weren't too happy with last season's performance and results. I wish you good luck this season as you climb the league(s)!
