If You Can't Dodge, Just Keep Healing Your Team

Hello Splinterlands Summoners
Welcome to my Splinterlands Community engagement challenge post here. Everyweek I participate in this challenge, where all the Splinterlands players are invited to share their thought and opinion about Splinterlands game based on certain themes of the week.
This time we are talking about modifiers. In the past we call this a ruleset, but right now they become modifiers. Anyway here are the modifiers in this Splinterlands

So which one should I take for my topic here? Well, There are plenty, and I get confused to pick one of them, so I scroll up to get an interesting battle from my activity history. This is what I see most interesting one.

I had a battle against someone way above me. This season I started to play on Wild Format because I needed to hone myself with the old cards. I have got sophisticated with the modern format, and it makes my Brawl performance drops. In Brawl, I play on Gold Foil Fray, so it is a Wild Format brawl with gold foil.
This one became interesting because I was on Silver 3 League and I had to fight with someone on Silver 1 League. The modifiers we would discuss is AIM TRUE.

This is a simple modifiers, None can dodge or evade any attacks here. This becomes simple because all you need to do is to hit the hardest you can, because those hardest attacks will land for sure. And make sure you hit first before your opponent moves.
However... There is a however here...
Sometime you know that you can not get the hardest attacks due to some reasons. Mana cap is one of them. So you are in between, from having less units but all big hitters, or having full 6 units team, but you must distribute the hit power.
When you distribute your hitting power, there is a flaw there, which your opponent would keep healing his units and you will end up unable to make any kill. This is what my topic today. IF YOU CAN'T DODGE, JUST KEEP HEALING YOUR TEAM!
So let sse the battle then
This supposed to be a hard battle for me, because my opponent had higher level units than me. He had a good idea too, having two tanks with healing ability. This would make me harder to kill their tank.
37 Mana cap was actually big enough for us to employ strong hitters, however there was a problem there

The beefcakes. This forced us to pick good health points units, which mostlikely demanded higher mana. So like it or not, we ended up having some idle units to compensate the mana requirement. This was the reason why you could see both of us had some idle units in the line up.

My opponent compensated that condition with a weapon training ability. With this approach, he could make a team with 3 melee damage and 5 attacking mages with a total 9 magic damage. Overall they delivered 12 damage per round.
On the other hand, I chose a defensive approach. I brought 3 healers into my team, and the drawback was my attack power was a low one. I had 2 mages with a total 2 magic damage, and 2 range units with a total 6 range damage. My fire power was 8 damage per round only.

When round 2 began, we could see that my team was still in full condition. None of us had got wounded. My tank, the Iziar was still standing strong.

The reason was Iziar void ability managed to cut down incoming magic attack damage. And with 3 healers, it meant that each of them would heal 3 health point, so in a turn, my Iziar had 9 health replenished.

The result was simple, until the end of the battle, which was round 8, my Iziar stood still unwavered. We ended this battle with him having the max health condition.
So my tactic was working well here. If you can not dodge, just heal your units at your best. Will this tactic work frequently? As I have said above, it won't work frequently. It works well only when you realize that you can not get the best attack damage due to mana cap or some other modifiers disturb your meta selection.
Ok That's all for today post and See you in Splinterlands battlefields...
