Ok here we go again, the five alive. oh before we go further, I would like to welcome you to my Splinterlands Battle Mage Secret post, and to day we still have the FIVE ALIVE ruleset as our theme.

Five Alive ruleset is one of the lastest ruleset introduced into the battlefield, and this one will limit your unit selection up to 5 units only. Most of the time this ruleset is a bit useless, because only when the mana cap go big, let say above 40, this ruleset becomes interesting.

Else... this just a joke. You don't believe this? let see another of our battles then

THE BATTLE PREPARATION

Look at that, 16 mana with Five Alive ruleset. No death and No life element, this was what we should call a fuck up situation. either Fire, Water, and Earth did not have many variations for below 4 mana units. Oh we still have dragon with Naga Assassin, whelp herder and Vruz.

I had these three stooges available for my selection, should I go with Dragon?

Ok this was the problem with FIVE ALIVE and FAB FOUR... these ruleset try to shift our attention from what we can do to how many units we need to deliver. I am not that good anyone, sometime I get tricked too... but not today

Today I would do the ass thing, the one thing which made many people complain in Splinterlands Discord... Deploying the Quora Towershead

It's a god damn 16 mana cap, not much we could do... So lets have Quora carrying us to get the victory

THE BATTLE PROGRESS

I always love to see a battle which each side using different element. This shows that both party have different opinion about their strategy and this make the battle interesting.

On the other hand, if both comes with same element, usually the battle is about who have the better cards. Although some cases same element can come with different meta.

This was a bronze Modern League, so both of us were definitely human players, not bots. And due to its modern league, there aren't as many selection for our line up. Mostly Chaos or Rebellion only, somehow people do not use rebellion on Bronze.

let see how this would go...

• The battle started with both of us buffing up our team and debuffing our opponents. Nothing much changed here, only 1 speed buff and an armor.
• My opponent came with 1 melee damage, and 2 magic damage. It's a combined 3 damage per round.
• No use to talk about my team, it's a one man army. Quora delivers 4 damages each round
• Regarding Quora heals herself 4 health per round, this battle was concluded here... I won

• For formality, I would keep telling you guys how this went... Although definitely I had won this battle from the start.

• Round 3 started with Quora VS Djinn Oshannus backed up by Merdaali Guardian.
• Actually their formation was not bad, but their meta could not kill Quora

• Ok let's fast forward like this, Their lineup could't not even harm Quora

• As Djinn Oshannus got killed in this round 5, we finally could say good game

CLOSURE AND DISCUSSION

Actually I did not like my meta too, because for most people especially newbie, Greeting them with Quora is making me feel like an asshole. However recently I love to do this because there are bigger asses who bully people on Bronze using full max level chaos deck 🤣 😂 They make me look like a good guy now.

Ok what's wrong with that battle? Let be simple here

1. Quora is too strong in low mana cap battle. Unless you can overpowered her using higher level ability, for example using max level cards, let say this kind of battle is supposed to be a Quora vs Quora battle.
2. With more units with bloodlust abilities, we need to be wiser in setting some extra meat wall, else this what happens... Quora eats them all to buff her up using the bloodlust.

Ok, that's all what I can say about this battle. Overall I would still say the same as my previous post... FIVE ALIVE is not an interesting ruleset. Just treat this like a normal ruleset, focus on getting the line up with a great meta... and the most important thing is to always have fun playing Splinterlands
