Decided to become an Investing Renter - I believe in #Splinterlands so I'm buying cards and listing them for rent immediately. Stack up #DEC tokens to buy more cards and do the same.

First off I am an investor in the platform and it's commodities.
I am holding #DEC in my #Binance wallet to gain #SPS rewards in the game. (I will also be holding DEC in the in-game wallet along with any SPS I claim from My Binance holdings) This will add to the amount claimable each time I claim them. I will be claiming rewards from the in-game holdings and Binance holdings only.

In most cases renting out cards wont get your money back for a long time (probably between 1 and 3 years if listed at the lowest prices) But, that is not the goal when renting anything. The goal is to keep possession of the property or item and make a steady income from them until you decide you want to sell them.
I have started out with my first goal being 100 cards listed for rent - this should be achieved by the end of the month / first week in February.
By April I'd like to have 250 cards collected and listed for rent and by the time Christmas comes around again My goal is over 1000 cards collected and listed.
Of course there is also duplicates. I will be getting quite a few of those so the collection will have over 1000 cards - but with many having duplicates the "real" number will be triple that at a minimum.

The second part of my investment is in the cards themselves. I plan to mainly buy Epic and Legendary cards to hold and list them for rent in the marketplace. Some higher value rare cards will also be purchased for my collection.

My projections are to have 1000 cards (3000 plus including duplicates) collected and listed by December 2022.
Some quick and slightly rough estimates are as follows.

Total spend first year - $1500
Total Income Rentals $400 - ($7.69 per week)
Total Income Rewards - $750 - ($14.42 per week)

Minus the $400 rental income from the $1500 first year costs for the cards and that takes it down to $1100 investment cost.
If we then deduct my estimated rewards total it's down to $350 - By that time the cards will be worth a minimum of $1000 (cost me $1500) so at worse if they lose value I end up $650 better off at the end of year one.

Year 2 projections
$2000 total spend (invested) over the 2 years
$1500 plus in rental income
$5000 plus in rewards.

Year 3 projection
$3'000 total spend (invested) over 3 years
$4000 plus in rentals
$10'000 plus in rewards.

All from $1500 invested - (My plan is not to touch #Splinterland revenue at all for 3 years minimum)
the projections include compounding rewards each week and keeping them across all mediums to earn.

These are some good goals, I am guessing with splinterlands long term is best, With land, cards, packs, playing, and renting. Add SPS and these are good goals
