It can be a lot cheaper to start a decent team for the upper bronze leagues, but to gain yourself a high rated team capable of "silver Leagues" then consider renting your squads! A powerful team of 25 cards can be rented for around $20 for 1 - 2 weeks

Hi guys and welcome to my post for new players and indeed pros to read through.
after looking through powerful teams and card choices I realized it would be a fairly sized investment of around $500 to gain mid to upper silver league status.
However, to carefully select cards and monsters for rent instead could land silver status for way less.
Now I know you never own the cards. But with a season played through in those couple of weeks, plus daily chests and awards, You can have your own very strong team by the end of the first 1 to 2 weeks of playing.

lets say you pay $30 for a really powerful rental team for 2 weeks.
you battle up to silver 2 league and gain 15 chests for your efforts.
add those to the 10 to 15 daily chests, plus bonus chests if you get potions in any of the daily chests. You have gained a minimum of 25 to 30 chests!!

that's enough chests to have a starter team of around 50 to 70 cards plus potions and extras if won.
