If You "Lose A Legend", Build One - Social Media Challenge

In order to succeed you must fail, so that you know what not to do the next time. Is a common quote by #"D'Angelo". This means in life we are bound to fail as humans, as no one is without their failure story. But what we do after failure is what really matters, some people sit back and remain at that spot while some move on and keep trying. This battle reminds me of never giving up, rather than trying to push forward. Another common saying is that giving up is not an option but a choice, so most times we choose to give up instead of persevering through tough times.

In the realm of splinterlands battle where we have the combination of summoner, monsters and top legends players colliding in the battle due to different challenging rulesets which has captured my attention and other splinterlands players as well, one of such ruleset is the 'Lose a Legend'. This rule sets a unique and interesting twist.

The Rules of 'Lose a Legend'

Playing the ruleset of the 'Lose a Legend' players are faced with a very intriguing dilemma, because in this Ruleset each player is faced with the risk of losing one of their legendary monsters and you all know what that means in a battle, when you lose the monster that was of great support, this monster are sometimes the most powerful among other monster.

Battle Experience

At the start of the battle I selected my legendary monsters. My choice of cards were the fire cards. I thought I was smart enough by using them, not knowing they are targets for my opponent. What I noticed in the game was my enemy was targeting my legendary monsters while protecting its own. Attacking my legendary monsters made me lose out of the battle completely
I wasn't smart enough to protect my legendary monsters, while my opponent developed a tactic in eliminating my target legend while keeping its own intact.

What I learnt

Decision-Making: while choosing cards for battle's like this, I must be careful to consider whether to choose my misr powerful legendary monsters and stand the risk of losing it, or select values monster to increase my chances of winning. This is a decision that will determine what will be the result of the battle. My take home is that I explore new strategies and experiment with other legendary monsters. Knowing and find the right combination of monster, summoner and the right skills to secure my winning while protecting my monsters.

In the third and fourth round of the battle my heart was racing, as every attack was leading to my losses, this moment was a heart pounding one for me.

Battles on Splinterlands Unlike most trading card games, are fast and furious, and are usually completed within few minutes.
