From Zero to Hero
Welcome to my post, the Second Episode of "From Zero to Hero." Here, I am sharing my journey of playing Splinterlands, without investing any money and only renting cards. I'll be documenting my seasonal progress and sharing the strategies I've used to get as far as possible. With dedication and hard work, I'm determined to show that it's possible to become a Splinterlands hero even without a significant investment. So, come along on this adventure with me and discover what it takes to go from zero to hero.
The account "papaplatte" was originally created by a friend of mine who received a free spellbook code from the Wasder App. Unfortunately, he stopped playing after just a few days. However, I saw the potential to do the "From Zero to Hero"-Journey.
How does is work?
At the beginning of each season, my strategy involves renting a strong deck through the NFTy Arcade Gateway. This way, I can avoid having to make any significant investments and instead, I simply share my rewards with the owner of the cards. Renting a high-quality deck through the NFTy Arcade Gateway is a win-win situation for both myself and the deck owner. This approach allows me to access powerful cards that I may not be able to afford otherwise, while the owner can earn rewards for their unused cards.

Find a Guild - Joined a Guild ✔️
The first step towards achieving our goals in Splinterlands is finding a guild. I'm excited to share that I've found a new guild, "Legion 2," from "Non-Fungible-Gaming." I believe it's a great fit for the challenge, as we're building it from the ground up. Being part of this guild will provide the support and resources needed to progress and succeed in the game. We've already fought our first Brawl, although it was quite challenging without any Gladiator Cards. But we won't give up - progress leads to success! I'm looking forward to continuing this journey with "Legion 2" and seeing where it takes us.
The second Brawl is ongoing, and is a lot better then the first.
We are still looking for new players to join, so just come by and join their discord.
Earning SPS 🚧
Earning SPS is an important part of our progress in Splinterlands. We can earn SPS by achieving victories in ranked gameplay and participating in Brawls, like the one we just fought with our new guild.
I'm happy to share that we also earned our first SPS for brawling in that match. We've also made some good progress with our staked SPS, thanks to some good chests. However, for now, we haven't made any moves with our staked SPS since we still need to accumulate more to make strategic decisions.
By focusing on earning and accumulating SPS, we can increase our competitiveness in the game and achieve our long-term goals. Join tournaments and buy cards.

Personal Recap
This season has been an exciting one for me in Splinterlands. I was able to join a guild and participate in our first brawl, which was a challenging experience as I didn't have any Gladiator cards yet. However, I adjusted my strategy and learned from my losses, and in the second brawl, I'm happy to report that I've managed to maintain a clean sheet of 5 wins and 0 losses so far. Throughout the season, I've also had some good luck with SPS pulls in the chests and acquiring some nice cards, resulting in an increase in my owned power from 3215 to 7820. Overall, this season has been a great learning experience for me, and I'm excited to see what new challenges and opportunities the next season will bring.

Nice post! Very detailed 👌 4 gf rare cards earned is not bad at all! And yes I agree brawl without gladiators is challenging, I've got the same, I'm using my daughters account who stopped playing to manage legion 2.
Luckily, my opponents aren't very strong either and seem to be new to the game mostly
