BATTLE MAGE SECRETS ✶ BROKEN ARROWS
The ruleset for this week's challenge
- Broken Arrows - Units with ranged attacks cannot be used
The ruleset that I managed to get
- Rulesets - Broken Arrows
- Mana Cap - 21
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Obsidian
- With this weeks challenge the specific summoner type doesn't really matter the only limiter is that you just can't play ranged units
- In my case as earth was active I settled for Obsidian and was planing to play magic myself and also counter enemy playing magic
1st Position: Mycelic Infantry
- Mycelic Infantry was my main tank for this battle
- Main reason I like Mycelic Infantry here a lot is hes Shield ability
- Shield - Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks
2nd Position: Furious Chicken
- Nothing really to say here other than way not play this wonderful card he costs 0 mana
3rd Position: Fungus Fiend
- Another 0 mana monster just cause way not
- For 0 mana you get 1 damage, 1 speed and 2 hp
- Main reason I played these 0 mana monster were that I just had room and they cost 0 mana and the second is that they were just free hp that my enemy can waist there attack to
4th Position: Mushroom Seer
- Love this card so much because of his Silence ability
- Mushroom Seer was my clever idea to counter my enemy playing magic comp
- Silence - Reduces the magic attack of all enemy units
5th Position: Wood Nymph
- Wood Nymph was the last monster in my team
- Even tho you don't get a lot of stats for 4 mana you do get the Tank Heal ability which I really like
- Tank Heal - Restores a portion of the unit in the first position's health each round
Starting board
- Already after seeing the starting board I was quite sure I was going to lose this battle
- That because I totally missed my guess on my enemy playing magic comp
- Secondly he was all in with Sneak monsters and I didn't have any backline because again I was hoping he would play magic comp
- But there was still a hope so lets start the battle and have a look
Here's how the battle went
1st Round
- First round was a total disaster on my end
- My enemy managed to take down 3 of my backline units without them even attacking once
- And if this wasn't enough my Mycelic Infantry managed to miss his only hit so in the 1st Round I took down no enemy monsters which basically ended this battle for good
2nd Round
- After 2nd Round my board was almost empty
- At least I managed to take down his Exploding Rats not that it mattered
3th Round
- It took my enemy 1 turn to kill my last standing monster
- After my Mycelic Infantry had fallen I took the L

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided and sad to watch but at least it was informative
- I lost the battle because I was hoping my enemy would play magic comp and I blindly tried to counter it which did't work at all
